Overall we had a great stay here. The condo is nicely, thoughtfully outfitted with every dish you'd want, pool floaties, laundry soap, board games, etc. Clean and comfortable with a homey feel. From this location, with some short walks you can do some of the best snorkeling-from-shore of anywhere in Grand Cayman. My family had a blast walking to Cayman Kai beach access and drift-snorkeling back to the condo from there. Hubby saw a shark, rays, lots of corals.
Very responsive renter/manager on VRBO - thanks so much for answering all of our questions, and so quickly! :-)
I do feel I should mention that the "stunning ocean views" here are just barely a view of the ocean from the condo. You have to sit in a specific part of the porch to see a bit of water through some palm trees. And the window looks out on the Rum Point beach which (when it is reopened) might be busy at times. Pretty, but not like the wide-open, wondrous ocean views we've enjoyed from other rentals on Grand Cayman. (The condo complex's beach itself, on the other hand, is very pretty and does have a stunning ocean view.)
Overall, I'd describe this condo as a good value: cozy, a fun location if you like snorkeling and an "off the beaten path" vibe, but part of a complex that is rather dated. The pool especially felt disappointing -- large and probably once beautiful, but not very clean, including the water and the old loungers there. The condo itself was clean and well equipped. A nice base for exploring!
