This condo is very clean, charming, quiet and has all the amenities we needed. We were very satisfied of our choice. The condo is right in front of the pool, so practical for young children. It has a kiddie pool. We asked Nicole for a high chair, a crib, an umbrella beach, a cooler, floaters for the pool and it was all there. The kitchen was perfect for us. Plenty of spices, cooking ustensils, towels or beach towels.
Snorkel is very good. Just a few feet from the beach, from the small palm tree to Driftwood, there was a lot of small fishes and lobsters. We snorkeled between the rocks and not to far from the beach. However, there is nothing over the seagrass. We also snorkeled to the reefs. The best spot is between the big tree and Driftwood. There was much more fishes and they are bigger. The reefs, and the rocks are beautiful. It isn't deep at all, 4 to 8 feet. Some locals were fishing there and they were standing just before the reefs.
There is also a good spot to snorkel in the area, it's behind the post office. You can't miss it. We parked our car at the post office. There are reefs about 15 feet from the beach. You have to look for brown rocks. We snorkeled also to the reefs, much closer than the reefs at the condo. Not deep at all.
It was sunny all the time, sometimes a few clouds, but no rain. There was not too much wind, except the last 2 days of our journey.
Near the area, we went to Rum Point to relax. We went to see star fishes at a very quiet beach and secluded beach. About 5 minutes further down the road from Rum point, there is the Kaibo grill, we turn RIGHT instead of going straight to the public beach where all the boats are. We drove until we saw a big arche. We passed the arche and parked our car near the 3 big palms tree. We found 6 star fishes into the water. It is also the best spot to swim and relax.
Nicole was very helpful with any questions we had. Our 2 weeks vacation was to short !
