We had an awesome stay. We visited in February and it was warm and cozy.
It was a little empty as far as the kitchen goes, usually there are more condiments and extras when we stay somewhere like this. I assume it was just off season since many people don’t visit Alaska in the winter. I was a little disappointed there wasn’t any oven pans to use and we had to buy a disposable pan to be able to use the oven.
The floors were a little slippery be careful walking around in your socks in the kitchen and bathroom. The pipes make some noise every once in a while.
Overall it was really nice though. It was clean, comfy, warm. Small little place to make our basecamp for the week. Loved the location was close to Fairbanks and North Pole. It is tucked in the woods a little off the highway but easy to find and easy parking with a circle driveway.
