Family Vacation

Perfect for our family reunion

We booked this large recently-renovated rental home for a large 4day family reunion. It was perfect for our group which ranged from age 3 to 65. We appreciated the large well-stocked kitchen with a table that could seat 20 as we cooked in all of our meals. The young ones made use of the toys and pool table in the garage-converted lounge, the plethora of games, and the multiple areas for groups to lounge. The sleeping arrangements were very comfortable including the queen bunks, and we appreciated the provision of extra mattresses in the closets that the teenagers preferred to utilize rather than sharing the queen beds. The hot tub was well maintained, and the property itself is beautiful despite its seemingly odd location. The property management communicated well and were very responsive to our one request. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable stay!

Peaceful, beautiful place!

Host was quick to reply and communicate. The home was beautiful. Two dishwashers & two washers & dryers. Beach towels for the hot tub. The decor made it so peaceful to be with family after losing our mom to cancer. Play room kept the kids entertained.

2-acre home experience

The home was beautiful and it accomodated my entire family so well. There was plenty of space for everyone. Communication with the host was great. They responded quickly and with accurate information.

Wonderful stay

Beautiful home that was a great place for my friends and family to catch up and enjoy each other’s company. House was stocked with snacks for everyone, and there was plenty to do (foosball, pool, etc.). Everyone mentioned how comfortable the beds were in all of the rooms. Bathrooms were very nice, too. Hosts are amazing with communication. Would definitely stay again!

This place was perfect. It was so clean and so amazingly set up for guest to be comfortable. The decor was so adorable too ☺️. We had a smaller soccer team come stay to attend a camp and it was perfect.

Perfect Family Gathering Location

Our entire family was comfortable with ample seating, a large backyard for entertaining and gathering spaces in the dining room, living room and backyard! We LOVED this place. The personal touches were wonderful too!

Fantastic stay

Great property, especially at the price. The only downside was that the counters in the bathrooms were oddly high, which was a mild obstacle for our shorter guests. But beyond that space was big, felt luxurious, private, and part of nature.

Amazing Family Experience

We absolutely had a wonderful time staying here. The property was perfect for our family of 7 with 5 teenagers. Such a great bedroom set up and very well stocked with whatever we needed. Plenty of space to spread out and still be together. The hot tub and game room were an added bonus. Would stay here again.

Walked in the door and was welcomed with a wonderful smelling home and a cute basket of snacks. The house was perfect and had so many nice amenties. We will be staying at this property again in the future if we ever need to go to North Plains!

Breathtaking Property

When you think of an amazing place to stay that almost encourages you to stay in, this is the house that will do it. All the amenities were top notch with entertainment and hospitality. I used this place for a groomsmen house and this place did not disappoint. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Baby Shower

Held our daughter-in-law’s baby shower here in April 2024. It rained but the views and balcony let us enjoy the outside anyway. This place is perfect for entertaining a larger group. Our family stayed overnight and found all our needs met. The home is well stocked, clean, and cozy. The management team is very responsive for questions. We’ve already started planning our next family gatherings at this property.

Perfect group space

To start with, everyone was impressed with the place. It was beautiful and so welcoming. The communication was excellent and the owners are extremely thoughtful . The kitchen / family room area was amazing. We love all the spaces.

Wedding Weekend

We were having our daughters wedding up at Horning’s Hideout and needed a home to stay where we could get ready and be close by! This beautiful home was perfect! Everything we needed and more! Loved the hot tub after dancing the night away and setting up the venue all day! Very nice to only be 15 minutes from the venue and to have plenty of space for the family to stay together!
