Welcome to Paradise!

Welcome to Barefoot Beach Villa a spectacular beachfront villa with swimming pool overlooking the ocean. Situated in the quaint settlement of North Palmetto Point, located on the charming Banks Road. Our home can sleep 8 comfortably and is fully air conditioned, satellite TV, wireless internet, fully equipped, newly renovated kitchen with all new appliances and all the comforts of home. Our casual and comfortable beach home is only a few steps to one of the most beautiful and serene pink sand beaches on the island. You will enjoy swimming in the clear turquoise waters, snorkeling among the many reefs teaming with sea life, kayaking, walking for miles on the pink sand beaches, sunning, and most of all relaxing. Enjoy a cool beverage, a gentle breeze and a fantastic view of the Atlantic from the spacious deck, swimming pool or screened in lanai.

We love Barefoot Beach Villa
Beautifully appointed house with lovely pool and deck area. The screened porch is such a a bonus. And all of this sits above a gorgeous beach!

Very nice property and location
Great location, a bit of a drive from the north airport (1h 20min), but being located in the central part of the island it was easy to drive around to visit other places on the island. Obviously there's a big difference between the Atlantic and Caribbean sides of the island (especially on windy days), but the beach in the back of the house was very nice, we barely saw anybody else at the other houses nearby during our stay.

A little slice of paradise
Kirk is an amazing host. The house is beautiful and well appointed. We needed absolutely nothing the whole week that we couldnt find in the house. (Snorkeling geat, cookware etc...) Howard (groundskeeper) was a pleasure to chat with and and always a phone call away if we needed hiim. All and all it was a perfect, relaxing week.

Another awesome stay!
We had another great time! Howard treated us like family, and Kirk checked on us to make sure that we arrived and later to see if everything was going well. The screened in porch off the master bedroom is a plus. Barefoot Beach Villa was impeccably clean. The view is spectacular! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We will come back.

This was our 7th visit to Eleuthera and our third time staying at Barefoot Beach Villa. The Love’s are tremendous hosts and this house is equipped with everything you need for an amazing stay. If you do need anything, Howard is always available to help out. This is a great location to use as your base for touring the entire island, plus it has its own amazing beach for relaxing days at home.

Property is very clean. House is a little dated but mainly in one bathroom but honestly the view makes up for anything lacking in personal taste. The views are simply amazing! The location is great too! House was very well stocked upon arrival. Would recommend this property. Property owners went above and beyond to fix or address any concern.

Breathtakingly beautiful! We wanted a peaceful, romantic, restful getaway and BBV delivered much more than we had hoped for. Next visit we will stock up and just stay at the villa! It is by far THE BEST of the island. From the lovely isolated soft pink beach and heated pool with an unparalleled turquoise ocean view, to the well appointed and comfortable home, we wanted for nothing more. Games, sporting equipment and beach supplies were all on hand and like new. Hard to leave! The owners and caretaker are phenomenal, welcoming, friendly, attentive and responsive. 5+++

Your own little piece of paradise
The house was better than described and pictured. I highly recommend staying here and will be back as soon as I can and as often as I can. Owner and caretaker were incredibly attentive and just awesome people. The beach is one of the best I have been to. You can literally spend the entire vacation here and have everything you need, although the location is ideal to see all of Eleuthra. I cannot say enough about how amazing this place is.

Best beach house ever!
This house was the best VRBO rental we've ever stayed in. It had EVERYTHING we could or would need. Snorkels, body boards, plenty of towels, kitchen tools. Our two families of 4 stayed very comfortably. We loved exploring Eleuthera, but if it's a calm sunny day the beach at the house is better than any we went to. The kids LOVED the pool, and we all snuggled in every night to watch TV before bed. Tip, at night walk down the path to the beach and look for fireflies. We wish we could stay another week.

Perfection!
This house is absolutely perfect. The pictures understate the beauty and amenities of this house. This house exceeded all of our hopes and expectations for our family vacation. From the secluded location, private beach, and well stocked house - you cannot go wrong. Owner and grounds keeper were very responsive to all questions and calls. We all agreed this was our best vacation location ever and we will be back!

The Best Beach Rental Ever
We've been to Eleuthera many times over the past few years, but only recently discovered this gem of a house. We've been back 3 times since, most recently staying for a full month. Unlike many rental houses on Eleuthera everything is in pristine condition, and the caretaker Howard will handle anything you need help with. The house has a wonderful screened in patio which is an essential as Eleuthera beachfronts can get very buggy at night. We'll keep coming back!

Beautiful and Peaceful
My family and I drove up to this gorgeous property and were immediately thrilled. It’s spacious enough to house a couple of teenagers and four adults. We were all very comfortable. The home was clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed to stay comfortable as in coffee pots, dishes, pots and pans, towels, beach towels, washer, and dryer, etc. Also provided were masks, snorkels, kayaks, and various other items for outdoor fun. Thank you so very much for offering this wonderful place for a family to be together, to laugh, talk and love each other as family should.

FIRST TIMERS
This property was more than advertised! Our 3 couples are beach people and the beach and ocean were more beautiful and private than we could’ve imagined. We stayed outside 75% of the time and all of the areas were conducive to having a great time. House was equipped with everything we needed and having a washer/dryer was great! Caretaker Howard took care of us and the owners responded quickly to texts. The only negative was the house cleaners didn’t leave the air on when the left that morning and it seemed a 100 degrees when we checked in. We just jumped into swim wear and headed outside. We have already booked for next year!!!!

2 weeks in paradise
This was our third stay at Barefoot Beach Villa in the last 9 years. I almost don't want to talk about how wonderful this property is because I want the option for availability again in the future! The saying goes Eleuthera is not for everyone- but if you are searching for a peaceful, comfortable, oceanfront location in a house with all the touches of home, an attentive caretaker and a responsive owner, this is it. The kitchen is well equipped, the washer and dryer efficient, oodles of beach towels, a clean pool overlooking the beach, a comfy screened in porch to escape the midges in the early am and evening and comfortable bedrooms with plenty of room for all. The house is centrally located on the island so you can explore to the north and south end. The beach is so beautiful you need look no further for soft white sand, swimmable shore and snorkeling. It is virtually deserted and you can walk forever in either direction- often without seeing another person. BBV is our favorite escape.

Great girls trip!
It's our last night at the house and we're so sad to be leaving! The house is just beautiful - even nicer than the pictures. There is plenty of room and all of the conveniences you'd need. The caretaker of the house Howard is so nice and really responsive. We had a great time at the Friday night fish fry in Governor's Harbor -danced in the streets for hours! We'd also recommend the Beach House on Banks road - really friendly staff and excellent food. The beach at the house is fantastic and so much fun- just make sure you have lots of bug spray for the "no-see-ums " the sand flies that you can't feel biting you but they are everywhere. Pretty typical for an island like this but worth a mention. Otherwise a fantastic house and great island to visit. Thanks Kirk and Marion for letting us stay in your little piece of paradise.

Beautiful Barefoot Beach Villa!
We just returned from a family vacation and 8 days at Barefoot Beach Villa. From the first contact with Kirk to book the rental to the day we left, the process was professional, easy and friendly. Howard is a gem and ready to answer any questions you might have and very responsive to any concerns. The information about the house is spot on, as are the pictures. The view from the house is spectacular, the pictures don't do it justice! We really could have spent everyday at "our" beach and been perfectly happy...and almost alone. The location is perfect for exploring the island, close to most of the best provisions, esp The Island Farm. The only small issue we had was finding enough working snorkel fins for 6 adults, a few of the pairs had broken/ missing straps. I would recommend Barefoot Beach Villa to anyone, without hesitation! I hope to return to this beautiful piece of paradise again soon!

Vacation Paradise
Our trip to Eleuthera, Bahamas began with a frustrating flight cancellation. However, upon arrival the next day, the beauty of the house, the beach and the friendliness of the property caretaker, Howard, let us know that we were in for a delightful vacation. The owner of the property, Kirk, even checked in with us to ensure we arrived safely. He was readily available to answer any questions regarding the house, food shopping, etc. The house was beautiful and spacious. It provided us with ample enough room for our family. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The pool was refreshing on those hot, humid, lazy days. However, the beach is the breathtaking centerpiece of this property. The pink sand was so soft, like pillows for your feet. The water was warm and crystal clear. This location, by far, had the best stretch of waterfront amongst it's adjacent properties. If you're looking for a piece of heaven to rest your weary soul, Barefoot Beach Villa is a wonderful choice, a choice we're so glad to have made!

HEAVEN ON EARTH
This was the best anniversary trip ever! From the house with everything needed to the amazing pool, beach and views. It was perfect. Caretaker Howard was so responsive to a few minor questions we had and Kirk the owner checked in several times to ensure things were going well. The house and pool are private and beach is shared with only 4 other houses, of which we rarely saw other on the beach. The master bed was VERY comfortable (we only used that room). The island is beautiful to explore and would definitely recommend taking a day trip with Captain Rob with Uncle Robs Great Adventures. He is amazing and will show you the BEST day!! In one day you can feed the sting rays, swing in the middle of the ocean on swings, feed the pigs (who are not aggressive like other islands), to snorkeling over a shipwreck!!! The sunsets on this island are AMAZING and Tippy's was our favorite restaurant with really good food and music several nights per week. I HIGHLY recommend this house and island so much we have already booked our trip to this house again next year! We have traveled to most of the Bahamas and this is by far our favorite island to explore.

Barefoot & Beautiful in Eleuthera!
Our multi-generational family of 5 had wonderful 10 day stay at the Barefoot Beach Villa and would recommend this property to anyone considering a vacation in Eleuthera. The location in N Palmetto Point is convenient to more than half a dozen restaurants within about 15 minutes and double that within half an hour. Other supplies are available in Governor's Harbor with multiple stores and fuel stations to choose from. The property owner Kirk is very accessible with questions, and we had the pleasure of meeting Howard the caretaker who is friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable about the property and island. The pool is a perfect place to relax after a day in the sand and surf! The beach at the house is wide and super soft, and most will find the water calm enough, but it is on the Atlantic so not necessarily tranquil. However, with the plethora of beaches that Eleuthera has to offer, there are many options to visit on the Caribbean side just a few minutes away. It's also worth mentioning that the house has an automatic propane fueled generator and cistern water supply so issues with public utilities are not of much concern. We did not have issues while we were there, but apparently there are times when utilities are problematic and having those resources at the house are of huge value. You can't go wrong with this property.
