"We love love loved the wood burning fireplace!!! The deck overlooking the lake was sublime. The kitchen spacious. Didn’t like the tv being in the bedroom. Would prefer to have it over the fireplace. The couch was pretty basic and not comfy. There was no coffee table so we moved the daybed over to put our feet up. Lots of birds chirping. Lovely."

The host provided amazing breakfast items (juice, milk, eggs, fresh local sourdough, butter, jam) which made the trip feel so special and the location was a perfect distance from the town (10 minute walk down to the pub and 15 mins to town). "I absolutely love this place. I'm from the island and did a little staycation, and I'm now forever renting from these wonderful people and staying in these cabins. A wonderful location right on the river and the coziest cabin with everything you need. The whole property is lovingly decorated with detail, and has a wonderful rustic vibe. "This house is amazing and conveniently located near malls, towns and highways. The house was clean, peaceful, relaxing and quite. There is a nice balcony where you can spend evenings listening to nature and petting nearby cats. We were happy to stay there and will return back on the next trip to Nanaimo. Oh, yeah, the hosts are friendly and pleasant to help with all questions and requests."

"These chalets are gorgeous! My teenage daughter picked this spot to celebrate her 17th birthday and I wish we stayed longer than a weekend. I highly recommend this location especially for families. They have a ton of activities on the beach and watercraft to entertain kids of all ages. Hope to return soon!"

"The view from the room was amazing. Extremely clean and has been updated, so bathroom the fixtures were modern and worked well. The breakfast included has a great selection of food. Different types of bread for toasting, eggs, cereal, omelet. Oat milk one of the beverage selections. The fruit and yogurt also a great selection. "
