Indoor Pool, 2 Miles From Ocean, 7,000 Square Foot Luxury Home

February school vacation week is open the 23rd to the 28th! Book your family stay with an indoor heated pool. Sleeps 24 guests. This home is isolated and private in the middle of 10 acres. Walking trails on abutting 16 acre conservation land, swimming, sauna, hot tub, pond for fishing and a huge yard for outdoor games. When booking please keep in mind this is a 400 year old home and has antique character. It is not a new 5 star hotel. It is old and not perfect, it has old farmhouse New England charm, the paint isn’t perfect, the windows are not perfect but it has modern amenities and newer furniture. I did recently shut the water to the soaking tub off in the master as too many guests were overflowing the tub and I have repaired/replaced the ceiling below 3 times. This is a 7,000 Square foot luxury home with an indoor heated pool, hot tub and sauna. There are 10 acres of a perfectly manicured lawn and pond. So much land for snowshoeing, cross country skiing, tag football, ultimate Frisbee, with additional conservation land hiking trails. There are multiple bedrooms with multiple beds to accommodate large groups. Features also include home theater with large screen TV, a ping pong table, patio for cookouts, a pond for fishing, the large yard accommodates a place for kids to run and play, yard games, a conservation parcel abuts with hiking trails, but winter will offer snow shoeing & x-country skiing.
PLEASE DO NOT INQUIRE ABOUT WEDDINGS!!! I cannot host any weddings on my property. No exceptions. This home is only suitable for low key family style vacations. NO WILD PARTIES!!!. To clarify what a non allowed event is, it would be a large gathering for more than the allowed 24 guests which would include a band, DJ, lots of cars, noise etc. That is not allowed. It is NOT considered an event if you have a corporate retreat, a yoga retreat, a low key Bachelor or Bachelorette weekend with 24 or less people, a family birthday party, wedding anniversary, etc. Anything being celebrated at the home within the allowed 24 guests is NOT considered an event and IS allowed. I can only fit 10 cars max on the property.
**Due to having too many issues/damage/broken house rules, etc. I have very strict rules about specific age groups, this is NOT a party house. Before booking, please outline the ages of your group and please offer as many details about your stay. I also highly recommend taking out the insurance for a more flexible cancelation option. In the event of Covid or anything else, it allows you to be able to cancel anytime and everyone is covered.

Beautiful home with character & great host
We had a fantastic “girls weekend.” This beautiful home has such incredible character and it is clear by the host’s clear expectations, direction and great communication that the property is well loved and seriously maintained. We explored the area a bit for activities, but we could have just as easily stayed in the home all weekend and enjoyed the pool, sauna, hot tub, and theater. I would highly recommend this property for a group getaway for those who would appreciate a home and setting with this historic charm. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

Cozy Bachelorette
Very fun property, we had a cozy bachelorette and never left the house! Overall really awesome, it has its old house charm, but the indoor pool was definitely the highlight. A property worth staying at any time of year!

Great property for a extended family weekend getaway
This was a perfect house for us to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday. The indoor heated pool was amazing!! Chelsi was easy to communicate with, prompt to respond and was willing and able to accommodate our requests! I would def recommend this house for anyone looking for a weekend getaway in the winter and can only imagine how amazing it is during the summer!!

Everything was perfect. Only area for improvement is cleanliness in a few areas of the home: garage, main floor laundry room, pool bathroom shower. Host is very communicative and respectful. Would highly recommend for a large gathering of family and friends.

Nice girls weekend away!
I had a great visit at Chelsi’s house, along with 8 of my girlfriends. The house was beautiful, very old, and so much fun to explore. The pool and jacuzzi were also great - and heated to perfection! Would definitely recommend to groups of friends or family looking for a relaxing and cozy “staycation”. This house has everything you need!

Outstanding location for a large family group
This historic but beautifully updated property features lovely wooded grounds, a pond full of water lilies, an indoor pool, entertainment room, ping pong table, outdoor grill and patio, a beautiful kitchen, and several rooms for gathering. It is a comfortable and enjoyable place for people of every age. Highly recommended!

Family weekend
Had a great weekend stay in North Hampton. The house was spacious and well appointed. The indoor pool was wonderful especially on a particularly rainy day. The bedrooms were especially spacious, and there was plenty of space throughout the house for everyone to spread out. The house is in a great location near shopping, restaurants, and mini-golf.

This house was absolutely amazing! We went for a relaxing weekend getaway with friends, and had the best time ever. We really never had to leave the property, we had everything we needed. Chelsi sent over helpful information and videos the day before our trip so we knew how to use everything, along with house rules. It was a great experience and we would definitely rent this again.

Gorgeous property, incredible inside and outside
Amazing property! Beautiful, breath-taking scenery. The indoor pool is the star of the show, the rest of the house is exquisitely appointed and feels as scenic on the inside. The owner communicates clearly and is very pleasant to deal with. The location is only an hour away from Boston, adding to the sweetness of this gem of a property.

Amazing Family Holiday!
What a perfect setting for connecting with family/friends while having plenty of space for privacy and relaxation! The home exceeded our expectations in terms of space and quality in details. We were a group of several different age groups and everyone found something to appreciate about our accomadations. Chelsi was a gracious host and made sure that we had everything we needed for a perfect week. We would just love to come back!

Family Weekend
We had a great time getting together with our kids and 4 grandkids (ages 7-14). The kids loved the pool and the movie room and they were especially excited that they all got their own bedroom in this sprawling farmhouse. Thank goodness there was tons of counter space in the kitchen because it gave the kids plenty of room to spread out and prep their secret recipes for the guac off!

Spacious home in a great location
This home had plenty of space to house our blended family for the weekend. The property had a ton of ourdoor space that we were able to utilize for morning walks or sitting out on the patio furniture. There were also plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone to be able to retreat to their own space. Having a huge kitchen and indoor pool, we were able to all comfortably gather in common space for hanging out and having fun. The property is not far from the beach, grocery store and restaurants. Overall a great stay with the family!

Sprawling farmhouse fun
With only five adults and two children onboard, this spacious, stately farmhouse offered an abundant week of adventure, relaxation, and good-feeling. Whether it was the wonderful indoor pool, quick, easy access to charming North Beach, or enjoying many comfortable indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, we all made the most of our time together. In spite of feeling nestled in a private wooded oasis, we were just a few minutes drive to every imaginable restaurant, attraction, and historic site. Beautiful location. Chelsi was a very responsive host, in particular when we needed help with TV connectivity following an electrical storm. We all had fun, ages 7 to 73.

Amazing Property! Perfect getaway for large group!
We rented the property for a long weekend for a girls getaway. We had a fantastic time and could not have been more pleased with the house. Not only does the house have ample bedrooms and living space, but Chelsi also goes out of her way to provide additional touches like shampoo, conditioner and body wash in every shower; pool towels; comfortable pillows; soft linens; and Netflix! The heated indoor pool and hot tub did not disappoint and it was so nice to not have the typical chlorine smell that commonly overpowers indoor pool areas. We all had a wonderful stay and hope to stay again in the future!

Family Getaway
Large home. Plenty of beds for all. Ample linens and towels. Lots of spaces so everyone could spread out or gather as desired. Short ride to beach. Beautiful property. Outdoor chair cushions were wet. Dishwasher was pretty disgusting. Plenty of kitchen equipment but pots were rather dirty. Bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed. Would definitely return if kitchen appliances and pans were updated.

Wonderful stay at a beautiful property
This property was as expected and perfect for a large group. There was plenty of room that you never felt on top of each other. Unfortunately my only complaint would be the heat. The house was much to warm and you are not able to control the temperature. The pool and pool area was the same and to warm to enjoy that space. Owner was very responsive and I would recommend this property with that knowledge.

Wonderful family vacation
We had a wonderful family vacation at this property in July 2023. The house was perfect, with plenty of rooms and flexible room configurations for everyone in my extended family to be comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked, and there were plenty of places to eat and gather together. Air conditioners in every room kept the place cool and comfortable even as the temperature outside rose. The kids enjoyed running around in the huge, well-kept yard, lounging in the TV room, and swimming in the clean and heated indoor pool. The location was also perfect for us - easy access to North Hampton, Rye, and Wallis Sands beaches, and Odiorne tide pools and park. The host provided ample information about the property, and was responsive to any questions. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Amazing
This is the perfect house for a mini getaway. Chelsi made sure everyone was comfortable & definitely went the extra mile to make sure we had what we needed for the weekend. The house is stunning & very spacious for large groups of people. There are serval things you can do which benefits every age group such as swimming , playing outside , hiking & etc. Chelsi showed great hospitality & definitely knows what people want. I would recommend everyone to come & spend some time here! The reviews says it all :) Thank you again Chelsi !

Property Owner is extremely overbearing and untrustworthy
Home owner thinks of this rental as her home not as a vacation rental. She entered the house at 5pm on Saturday night to spy on our evening. She did not respect our privacy by entering the house on Saturday for an extended period of time. She is going to claim we had a party but that is an inaccurate depiction. We had 19 people staying at her rental vrbo that is listed for 24 guests. So we had less than the allowed number of guests. She is looking for renters to pay for her routine maintenance. She is trying to claim that the diving board was damaged by our group but we have proof in photos taken upon our arrival that the diving board was damaged before we arrived and appears to be well past its useful life. Probably 20 years since it was first installed. Useful life appears to be 7-10 years based on top manufacturers warranty. Homeowner has no photos of the condition before we arrived/after last renters. If she wants to try and claim this she should provide photos of the condition before we arrived, the date of install, the manufacturers warranty and product data, Luckily we have a photos from when we arrived at the house showing clearly the board is damaged and leaning forward vs. the photos from the listing that show the board as level. You invaded our privacy. One bathroom was completely unusable with 1 day warning and no discount given. Master bath tub not useable but advertised in her photos. Owner should not rent their house if you do not want people to use it.

Family Fun at its Finast!
An absolutely amazing property that made for an absolutely amazingly good time! Our family group of 20 people enjoyed every minute of our one week stay at the house. The grounds are beautiful and well kept and the privacy of it can't be beat! There is plenty to do nearby, Portsmouth, good dining, the beaches, boat cruises, brewery tours, shopping and more. But it was even more fun to stay home and enjoy the house and vast grounds. We played played baseball, kickball, soccer, croquet, fished in the pond, went hiking on the trails, and we even flew kites! And if it rained it was not a problem, it was "everybody into the pool!" So much fun to have an indoor pool, we used it everyday. A big thank you to Chelsi for sharing this truly magical place with us, it made for such a memorable vacation for us all!

Family getaway
We just stayed over the kids school vacation. Kids ages ranged 11months - 17. The kids and adults loved the pool. The sauna was hot! All the space allowed the kids to hang out in one living room or theater room and adults in the kitchen or other living room area. Tons of rooms, pull out sofas, and bathrooms! The check in and check out process was clearly laid out and was all the basic stuff I think you would do when respectfully staying at anyone’s property. The owner was attentive and answered any questions I had. Kitchen had everything needed to cook and eat with. Grill and propane provided. The linen and towels were all supplied along with pool towels. Washer and dryer available to use. A lot of parking spots available. Close drive to grocery store and other stores. We were all very comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

Appledore Farm Estates is an amazing home!!! It is the perfect place to spend with family!!
I can not say enough about our experience here! The owner Chelsi was fabulous any questions she answered right away and Sue the care taker was so wonderful, she was very attentive to everything!! The Home was spectacular!!! It was clean , very tastefully decorated, warm and comfortable. We had my mother-in- laws 90th birthday weekend and it could not have been more perfect. The beds were so comfortable, plenty of bathrooms, lots of space to gather but the privacy if you need it! The house it self has so much character, it was interesting around every corner and I am sure the history behind the home is fascinating . The pool, hot tube and sauna was such a bonus, I have stayed at homes with pools in the past but never like this, it was spotless, crystal clean and refreshing! The grounds are beautiful, will have to come back when the weather is better to enjoy the outside ( rainy weekend in January) Chelsi Thank-You so much for opening your home to us, we all will be talking about this for a long time and hope to return in the future:)
