"My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the lake. My kids enjoyed playing outside in the snow. We had such a quality family time playing board games, watching movies and drinking hot cocoa. Justin was such a great host and really helpful when needed. We’re definitely coming back!"

"Such a perfect space for us. Home was spotless! We had a wedding in Hartford, three bedrooms worked out perfectly two bathrooms everyone had plenty of space. Beautiful kitchen and amenities. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Wish we could’ve stayed longer"

"Our visit at this VRBO was almost excellent… the only issue we had was with theTVs. We could not get the TVs in the bedroom to work. Cleanliness was exceptional! Availability of food/meal supplies was great. It was nice that there was ice already made for us. The towel and wash cloths were fluffy and absorbent. The queen bed and pillows were very comfortable. We cannot say there was anything that did not meet expectations! Anyone would be comfortable there. We would book again. "

"The Lakeview Cottage exceeded expectations! My family was visiting from out of state for our daughters’ Cheer Competition and it was the perfect home away from home. Home was clean, Host was very communicative and accommodating, would definitely book again!"

"The property was lovely. The house was adorable when you walk inside. The view of the river was amazing. The house had everything you need for a short getaway. The only recommendation is to add that the train tracks are right by the house. We got in late and it was dark the first night. I woke up in the middle of the night thinking a truck was coming through the wall. "

We could walk to the library with my 2 grandchildren or drive to the Children's Museum in less than 10 minutes. Our host was very responsive to any questions we had. "We had an issue getting into the house, but the host answered the phone immediately and helped us gain access. His communication was excellent. We chose this location because of the proximity to our family and it worked out perfectly."

"We came into town for a family funeral. This was the perfect home base for the week. The house is spotless. Very comfortable bedding and more towels than you could ever need! The shower is hot with good water pressure but is a tub/shower so a tighter fit. However, that is expected in an older home and did not deter from our enjoyment of the property. You truly cannot beat the location. Street noise was never an issue for us. Thankful to have a place that felt like home during a difficult week....

"The house was spacious and nicely furnished downstairs, and with just a tiny amount of effort it could be quite nice. But the communication appears to all be with robots, so apparently no one is managing it. When we arrived, the downstairs half bath had a dirty, unflushed toilet, no hand towels, and 2 out of the 3 lightbulbs didn't work. In the kitchen, there was a working Keurig with plenty of coffee and tea, which was the one amenity that lived up to the description. However, the ice maker...
