"Pet friendly hotel that had big rooms. Breakfast was great. I stayed for 6 nights and felt it was a good place to stay until I interacted with their staff. They are not rude but use the excuse that they are ‘new’ so that their staff may make mistakes. After cleaning the room, I noticed the 2nd room key was missing. I had left it in the wall on purpose. When I asked them to bring it back, the employee used the key to open the door without knocking first! Not thinking twice if there were anyone...

"In the center of bustling Taichung, this small yet clean hotel was satisfied all our needs, including basic amenities and security. There is no parking however, if you’re driving you have to pay for parking in one of the parking towers nearby."

"Very spacious quadruple room with great city view. The room smelled musty and somewhat moldy though, and it was impossible to open the window. The air-con did not work well; I think they set the temperature quite high, and it felt like ventilation only, so it was hot during our stay. I called the reception but they said they could do nothing about it..... Nice buffet breakfast (mainly Chinese, with some Western items) served at 2nd-floor Chinese restaurant. "My first stay at this hotel which is very good. (I have stayed a number of times at their "sister hotel" Ren Mei Fashion Hotel -- also very nice -- in a nearby neighborhood.) The lobby is quite posh as shown in the webpage. They've decorated some of the walls with beautiful images of Paris (Eiffel Tower and Montmartre). Although the design of the rooms is somewhat dated, they're comfortable and the size of the room exceeded my expectations. "
