"The building is beautiful and the room I had was nice. The manager was not great. They had asked when I would be arriving, and I called and left a message and also texted, but when I got there I stood outside for over 10 min in the cold. Rang doorbell twice and texted. You're not allowed to wear shoes. Shared bath, and make sure you don't touch anything or leave anything, including your towels. There were no hand towels. I felt like an intruder, not a guest. "

"I love the end! The location for us was fantastic being that we walk quite a bit. The headlands are right out. Your front door and downtown is about .6 miles. The road was kind of tight but made walking doable. The service was great, and the breakfast was great. The view at breakfast can’t be beat. The only disappointment was the bathroom, especially the shower. Way overdue for a makeover. The general manager did tell us they were going to remodel it, but that didn’t do us any good. "The hosts were very friendly and helpful, eager to please. They gave great suggestions of where to go in town. The building is historical so revuew is taking this into consideration. Our room (south) really needed an extra table to be able to sit at or place our suitcase on. There was plenty of room for one The bed was incredibly comfortable. The location was close enough to town to walk but we drove due to rain. A nice place if you feel historical. Breakfast was decent, not over the top...
