In the unlikely event of a MANDATORY EVACUATION ORDER FOR CHARLESTON COUNTY during your stay, rest assured that both the Owner/Host and the Property Management Company WILL REFUND 100% OF YOUR PAYMENTS. Once refunded, neither party will have further liability regarding your reservation.
Please note that ONLY MANDATORY EVACUATIONS WILL QUALIFY FOR REFUNDS. No other travel disruptions due to weather, whether in South Carolina or other states, are eligible. For protection, consider travel insurance, especially in high-risk months like hurricane season. Airbnb's insurance or other options are recommended and we urge you to look into them prior to confirming your reservation.
INSECTS
As Charleston is situated in a warm, coastal climate it is possible to see insects inside or outside of the home at times. These include palmetto bugs, sand gnats, mosquitoes, ants, etc. Those who reside in the Lowcountry just accept this as part of living here but it may be unsettling for those from other areas. The home is treated regularly for pest control but this will not entirely eliminate insects from getting inside at times. Please do your best to not keep doors and windows open and not leave food or drinks out in the home as this will attract insects. FINDING AN INSECT IS NOT CAUSE FOR A REFUND.
HOME DETAILS
THIS IS AN OLDER HOME BUILT IN THE 1950'S THAT STILL HAS TRAITS ASSOCIATED WITH AN OLDER HOME. While there have been some small cosmetic renovations it still has old bones and guests may notice areas of uneven flooring, cracks in ceilings, cracks in paint, etc. If comparing prices in Charleston, we feel it is an affordable alternative to hotels and other homes in the area but anyone expecting luxury accommodations in a brand new house should look elsewhere.
The home is a duplex and there is a detached 1br unit on the right side of the home with a long-term tenant. The units share no interior spaces and have their own private entrances.
There is a storage unit in the back used for owner's storage. It has it's own exterior entrance and is off limits to guests.
There are train tracks throughout the Park Circle area as the port is nearby. You may hear trains passing throughout your stay.
HOUSE RULES
- Please respect the neighbors and observe the outdoor quiet hours between 10pm-8am.
- No smoking, no pets, no parties.

The home is managed locally by Southern Charmed Hospitality Group so someone is always available should any issues or concerns arise.
GETTING AROUND:
There are numerous restaurants/bars/parks/breweries that are walking distance from the home but a vehicle would be needed to venture further out in the Charleston area as public transportation is not convenient.
There is parking for multiple vehicles directly in front of the home.
There are Ubers/Lyft for when you choose to leave your vehicle parked.

As its name suggests, Park Circle is anchored by a central circular park that has the world's largest inclusive playground which is echoed by several other nearby green spaces—including the city’s own disc golf course, which is free to the public.
Known today as North Charleston’s old “Main Street,” Park Circle’s East Montague Ave. is lined with quite a few storefronts and eateries. Grab a cup of coffee, pop into some local shops and snag a bite to eat, all without needing to wander too far in this very walkable area.
