Welcome to your own private and secluded city estate surrounded by woods and nature. Enjoy the grounds from the back patio, covered porch or through the large windows on the main level that let the natural light pour into the newly remodeled 5BR/3BA home. The focal point of the main floor is the fireplace surrounded by the open kitchen, dining and living area. The first floor main bedroom suite features a huge bathroom with dual head shower, double vanity sinks, sitting area and toilet closet. The main floor is completed with an office, full bath, mudroom, and laundry. The second floor features four bedrooms and a full bath each complete with a ceiling fan and smart TV. The finished basement space provides a second living area with fireplace and smart TV.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We really appreciated the cleanliness and all the little extras provided in the home. We enjoyed playing the many games, and the little ones loved the teepee in the bunk bed room! Everything was very well furnished and we weren’t lacking anything!

We had a fantastic time in N Canton. Galen is a very attentive host and we couldn’t have asked for a more lovely home. We would highly recommend. The home is immaculate and very tastefully decorated and is well equipped with all the essentials needed for a short stay.

Christmas visit
We come to the canton area yearly for a family Christmas gathering. My family and my sister’s family live out of the area. We usually stay in hotels. This year our visit was shorter and we wanted to maximize together time. This house was perfect for that. The updates to the house are beautiful. There’s plenty of space to hang out. We had football on in one room and games being played in the dining room. It was just what we had hoped it would be. We all agreed we would absolutely stay there again.

Galen was an amazing host! The house and property were beautiful!! The house was large, and it had everything we could possibly need during our stay. Secluded but Accessible
We booked this gorgeous spot for a girls getaway week in Canton. The house sits on a beautifully wooded property that makes it feel like you are in the middle of the forest with no neighbors in sight. However, it actually is right off a main drag close to everything you can imagine (shopping, dining, vineyards, etc). Inside, every attention to detail was made when this listing was renovated. There is ample space to gather with friends or family, a gaming area in the basement, or firepit outside. We absolutely loved our stay and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone without reservation.

Family Wedding Stay
This property and home were amazing, being located in close proximity to restaurants, shopping, etc., while at the same time being in a rustic secluded location which provided complete privacy. With 7 adults and an infant, we used all 5 bedrooms which were spacious and very nicely furnished. The living, dining, and kitchen areas were also very spacious and exquisitely furnished. The game room in the basement with a pool table got a lot of use by our family. Although wedding activities took up a lot of our time, we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay here and would definitely consider staying there again.

Lovely Newly Renovated Property
The property is a woodland oasis. It’s newly renovated and comfortably furnished. It was perfectly clean and thoughtfully appointed with all the essentials. Management is responsive and helpful. It was perfect for my holiday travel. And I had a great time staying here.

This home and location was perfect
We were in town for a wedding and needed a location capable of accommodating our large family. This home is beautiful in every direction you look and did not disappoint . The attention to detail every room/ every bathroom… everything was there. Linens, pillows, furnishings. I spent a fair amount of time taking in the beautiful and tranquil park-like back yard. We were visited by chipmunks, squirrels, a low cruising hawk, deer and a cat we named boots. A perfect weekend and believe me when I say, this was my 1st VRBO experience and these hosts set the bar very, very high. If you’re looking for a place in this area, stop your search right here and book it. You will be glad you did!

Amazing home in an amazing area, feels far away from everything but the deer/birds yet close to all.
Stayed with family of 7, including disabled mom who stayed on the 1st floor and teens who spent time playing pool and enjoying the internet. Within 10minutes was ice skating, K1 racing, MAPS airplane museum, and close shopping. Well stocked home with all the little details covered. Enjoyed nature watching and s'mores at the fire pit. Wonderful host who responded to all messages right away. Bonus we caught a 1min + total eclipse on this visit.

The house was beautiful inside and out. We loved the screened in porch. Unfortunately, there was no hot water for the entire weekend. That was extremely disappointing and we were unable to communicate with anyone to get it fixed.

Beautiful Secluded Property right in “the city”!
We enjoyed our stay at Galen’s property. It was perfect for our family. It is beautifully remodeled. Every detail was thought of by the owner to make our stay feel like home. My adult children enjoyed the pool table and the ice maker for our beverages in the evenings. I loved coffee and tea in the morning sun while watching the deer frolic in the freshly fallen snow. We would LOVE to stay at this beautiful property next time we are in the area. Thank you so much for opening your beautiful property for others to enjoy!!!

Luxury Stay
This VRBO is a great place to retreat. Nearby are all the restaurants and stores you could think of, but as soon as you enter the property grounds there is quiet. The home is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated to create a calm and restful feeling. It was a wonderful, getaway for us five sisters and our Mom. A bedroom with an attached bath located on the first floor made it easy for Mom (89) to get around with a walker. This home is super comfortable and the hospitality is felt. Our only complaint is that it was too hot to enjoy the grounds. This is one of the best stays you could find. I highly recommend! It’s is worth every penny!

Nice place. It was really perfect. We werenin town to play in the state pokl tournament. The table in the basment was nice. I would suggest an on demand hot water system. The 50 gallon couldnt keep up with 3 showers. I knew that so my people scheduled to accommodate... im a master hvac/plumber... but i would rent it again just for a getaway....
