Location away from the hustle and bustle of town. Difficult to get into (must call ahead for entry code). Breakfast time us short (over by 9am) and do not go in at 9:05am unless you want to be yelled at. Cleaning staff entered room without knocking 1.15 hours before check out.

Overall a very nice small hotel. The two big draw backs are no staff on site after 6pm and a completely underdimensioned parking arrangement.

Unfortunately I would not recommend or go back. It started by us having almost to cancel because of personal reasons. Then when we arrived to the hotel we found out that the street was under construction. Construction started 7-16. The parking was tight and we could just squeeze in to a parking place. Next we try to check in and paid. Next he says that credit cards are not accepted and that we had to use another card so he “returned” the money but we had uses and it cost us a few extra dollars because of the money exchange. After that when we were on our way to our room we found out from the cleaning lady that it wasn’t done and we had to wait 20 minutes. We were tired and wanted to relax. The room we had was in the basement. It was clean but there was not air flow. When we tried to open the window somebody was smoking so all the smoke went in instead. It wasn’t a good experience.

Lovely local hotel with friendly atmosphere and great breakfast. The room was fresh, modern and comfortable. We stopped a night en-route to our destination and would definitely return again. The tips from Felicia for where to eat in the city were very appreciated.

My second stay
This was my second stay at the hotel and I find it very pleasant. The breakfast is also good and all rooms are clean and very comfortable.

The room was modern and very comfortable with great shower, fast internet and even chromecast. Breakfast left us slightly disappointed because there were no eggs with bacon. The staff is very polite and nice but goes home after 19.00 and can only be contacted via mobile. I would prefer to have staff available at all times. Parking overnight costs 60 sek. Considering Stockholm prices, I found this place a little overpriced. (935kr for a double room + 60kr parking).

As good as it gets!
The owners are remarkably friendly and welcoming. It really feels like a home away from home. The breakfast offers a wide selection of fresh fruit juices and a variety of ecological choices plus home baked bread. Altogether a perfect choice!

Superb property with great facilities. It has a very large sitting room downstair, sauna and a large kitchen with single hob, microwave and basic cooking utensils and crockery. Lovely rooms, area to sit in in the garden and on the veranda and parking. Close to town and an easy tram ride from the station or a 30 minute walk.The only downside is never seeing anyone at reception, you have to ring the bell or call them if you want them.

Rummet var trevligt, vi bodde i källaren och det var ett fint nyrenoverat och mysigt rum. Hade varit ett plus med mer än en sovkudde var. Frukosten var bra. Inte lika mycket som på ett större hotell men det mesta fanns och det var fint uppdukat. De tiderna vi var där var det dessutom lugnt och stilla med skön belysning. Minus var bemötandet i receptionen där kommunikationen brast något. Vi ville ha sen incheckning och även om det till slut löstes och då var väldigt smidigt, så fick vi inte informationen som behövdes från receptionen trots att vi ringde flera gånger under dagen. Det visade sig att det kom ett automatiskt sms efter att receptionen stängt med all information men det kommunicerades inte vid telefonkontakten så vi var osäkra på om vi verkligen skulle kunna komma in och om det strulade så fanns ingen kvar i receptionen att kontakta. Det hade underlättat att få tydlig information om hur incheckningen gick till på förhand.
