Good house for vacation stay
This property is exactly what the pictures and majority of reviews list: nice updated house with plenty of space for 5-6 people. We enjoyed our stay here. The door code worked and we were able to enter on time with no issue. The house was clean, all the rooms looked like they did in the pictures. There is a lot of decorative statues, china etc. like the photos show, it wasn’t an issue for us besides one tall statue we moved because of the dog. The kitchen was nice and updated and outfitted fine minus any measuring cups or hot mits. The yard was in good shape and very useful for a dog. The location is close to the beach, groceries, and we walked to Cova the local coffee shop as well which was cool. There are just enough pillows and towels for a full house. If you want more than one pillow per person or beach towels you should bring extra. There is also only space for two cars in the driveway. We emailed Christian about a previous review that mentioned bed bugs and he replied quickly about the issue. The house has been inspected and cleaned with no issue. We did not see any bugs during our stay.

We were planning on staying at the house from Saturday until the next Saturday but we checked out after only staying for one night because we found bedbugs. When we got there on November 18th we also found dirty towels and a steak knife in the dirty clothes hamper. Evolve travel gave us a refund but we are still waiting for our 310.00 dollars service fee from VRBO.

PROS,LOVED THE HOUSE BEDROOMS WERE LOVELY CENTRAL AIR WORKED GREAT IN THE LOWER LEVEL. UPSTAIRS BEDROOMS HAD THERE OWN WINDOW UNITS THAT WORKED FINE, VERY LARGE LIVING ROOM/DINING AREA KITCHEN WAS ADEQUATE AND EVERYTHING WORKED,NICE BIG BACK YARD FENCED IN FOR THE PUP.OVERALL GOOD... CONS FLOOR HAD SOME DOG HAIR IN SPOTS NOT FROM OURS AND WE SPOTTED A COCKROACH IN THE KITCHEN AREA WALL THREE NIGHTS IN AND KILLED ONE IN THE UPSTAIRS MASTER BATHROOM LAST NIGHT WE WERE THERE

It would have been nice if it had been clean and there was no old food in the refrigerator and when you called the contact to inform them they would have actually cared and came and addressed the issue.

Great Location
The location is walks from the beach. The backyard is very family friendly with a play area for children and adults. Nice patio for cooking and lounging. The refrigerator did not work at all. Someone came out the first day and bought a mini frig but we were there for 4 days and it did not hold all of our items. We end up wasting a lot of food/drink due to this. Bring your own towels if you have a large group. IMO there are too many decorations. Sitting at the dining table, you could not see the person in front of you (there were 8 huge pieces of table decor). Also, be careful on the dining room table rug. It is raveling and needs to be replaced. Several of us almost tripped multiple times. Not all bedroom tvs are equipped with cable/firestick/apple tv.

Very nice home
Home was extremely clean and in a nice quiet neighborhood. Our only concern was the gas was on in the outdoor grill but I’m sure the owner didn’t leave it that way. We had no issues so I didn’t have to communicate with the property manager.

Nice house to bad it's not managed correctly .
The house was great, but there were a lot of problems. The heater was broken and we had to put the air on because it was 84 in the house in the middle of Dec. There were many thing broken in the house and I had to take pictures so that they wouldn't charge me. When we came in every table and counter was covered with things that 2 and 3 yr olds would have loved to destroy, so I put everything in the closet. The play set had a lot of broken wood and is not safe for children to use. If you go, bring more towels and pillows, and make sure you get all the password to the TV. The house is big and the kitchen was easy to work in. If they would go in and fix the problems, the house would be the perfect place to stay.

When you have teens and adult children it’s challenging to get everyone in the same place together! This house was exactly what we needed! Great location and proximity to everything! Our family enjoyed the whole stay. I only wished we could’ve stayed longer.. The beds were comfortable and rooms large enough for us to all gather and have a good time. The downside was there was no microwave for reheating but we made it work and the bedroom TVs gave us a issue first night but property manager was readily available and helped troubleshoot. Can’t wait to return! Overall fantastic stay.

Clean and Great Location Property
Very clean and easily access to beach/shopping/restaurants. Should be noted there is no microwave in the house, which the property manager should have known and not gave incorrect responses wasting her time and mine. Work around figured out, but still VERY unusual. Only master bedroom has a ceiling fan and the HVAC control for the upstairs so the other family members had to go out an purchase fans to keep cool. Again, we adapted but this information would have been helpful before arrival. Backyard playground was a big hit with the 4 year old and everyone enjoyed the close availability of the beach.

Overall a very good stay. The code to use to get into the house did not work and it took a bit of time to get a new code. TVs in the bedrooms did not work. Someone had taken the fire sticks and cables so no tv at bedtime. The only tv that worked was in the living room. But again overall good stay. House is beautiful and located very close to the beach.

Norfolk Vacation
Beautiful home in a great location. The home is large, great decor . Perfect place for a family dinner for my granddaughters graduation. Large fenced in back yard. Loved the large porch out front, coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening! A short walk to the beach. Master bedroom and bath were great. Very comfortable beds in all 3 rooms. The tvs were not working, satellite looked like it was out, but it really wasn't a problem for us. Would suggest more towels, bath and none in the kitchen at all. Lots of dishes and cookware. But had to run out and buy a wine opener! Would stay here again when back in the area !

Beautiful, comfortable home. Just disappointed that we had to clean out the garbage disposal from previous guest and could not get it to work. Also, no kitchen and hand towels and wash cloths. Also, no dish washing detergent. Our daughter, who lives just down the street, brought us all of those. Also, need to recommend in their listing to bring soap and shampoo. Otherwise, we had a very nice stay.

Correctly advertised as a large, spacious house with three bedrooms. Beach is a bit further than stated, but 8-10 minute walk with young kids was not an issue. No communication with property manager while on site because no concerns. Only recommendation is to provide guests with options of washcloths and hand towels, not just bath towels.

The house is nice however they left personal items that should not have been left. When I vacation that what it suppose to feel like not that I am at a family member house who left me the house and got hotel. The house is not kid friendly to may breakable things. The wifi or tv’s wouldn’t work. Overall I was not happy for all the money they want.

The house was beautiful but we felt like the description in the listing was deceptive.
The owners went into great detail to describe that each room had a big smart TV. However they neglected to mention that the property did not have cable. One room had a fire stick but they didn’t give us the PIN number to use it. Fortunately we brought our own fire stick. Also the keyless lock got stuck and we got locked out and had to wait an hour for someone to bring a key. They seemed really nice and the place was beautiful but we won’t stay again. I think for the money we spend we should have all the convenience of home.
