Summary:
The Pearl Suite is a 1 bedroom, 1-bathroom, apartment (sleeps 2) with a private backyard! Located in beautiful Ghent just minutes from restaurants, downtown Norfolk, CHKD, and EVMS. Every detail has been taken care of to make this a comfortable and unique AirBnb stay.

The Space:
Bedroom 1: The first bedroom has a queen size bed

*There is no ramp or elevator in this house.

There is one full bathroom that is fully equipped with towels, shampoo, conditioner, and soap.

The living room has ample space for relaxation and has a 55" Smart TV with cable and high-speed wifi.

The full kitchen is equipped for all of your cooking needs and has a range with oven/stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and all cooking utensils and dining ware needed.

Guest Access:
Access is by private door with door code.

Guests will have the entire apartment to themselves.

The Neighborhood:
The property is a short walk to downtown Ghent, CHKD, EVMS, and downtown Norfolk.

Getting Around:
Parking is available on the street on the front and side of the building.
Host is not responsible for issues associated with street parking.

Other Things to Note:
House rules:
• Absolutely no smoking in or near the building. Any smoking must be outdoors and at least 25 ft from the property. Guests will be fined if smoking policy is violated.
• No parties or events (gatherings over max occupancy will be shut down immediately unless previously approved by host)
• Check-in is anytime after 4PM
• Glitter of any kind is not allowed in the unit. Any sign of glitter throughout the unit will result in an immediate $100 cleaning remediation fee.

- Check-out is 11am
- Clean the dishes & return them.
- Turn TV off
- Leave AC on in summer and heat on in winter
- Lock door behind you

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, communication
Each day I came home to a new dead or dying LARGE cockroach (quarter size & up). I wasn’t able to get in the front door or the actual apartment door with the code provided. Luckily someone showed up to “inspect a unit” & helped me out. Ironically, he was inspecting the unit I rented. However, he was unaware it was rented. I called & messaged via Vrbo & Expedia stating I couldn’t enter the property & NEVER got a response. Furthermore, the code I was given for checkin didn’t open either door. 30min later I was finally able to enter after the guy called someone 5x. The unit was 80 degrees during the day WITH the AC on. The music from the downstairs neighbor was so loud (all day. Everyday.) that I had to wear my AirPods to hear my shows….which I watched from my phone because the couch was filthy & stained…everywhere. I never even sat on the couch because it was so gross. I never unpacked my suitcase because of the roaches. The floor in the entire unit was sticky. I can provide multiple pics of the roaches & the couch if you would like.
