Welcome to our charming 1924 Farm Style Beach House in the Ocean View/Willoughby Spit area of Norfolk, VA. Our family-run property offers the perfect combination of a beautiful beachfront location, spacious interiors, and a convenient location near local attractions.

BEACH HOUSE & OPTIONAL COTTAGE
Our Beach House provides everything you need for a comfortable stay, including linens, towels, and beach gear. The main house sleeps 6, and an optional cottage is available for an additional fee, which sleeps 2. Please note that we do not rent for events, large gatherings or group rentals. We only rent to families.

BEACHSIDE LIVING
Take in the stunning views from the beachside double deck, accessible from the master bedroom and side stairs. The lower deck features a patio table and hammock for relaxation. The house and cottage are equipped with air conditioning, heating, and ceiling fans.

WELL-EQUIPPED KITCHEN & OUTDOOR DINING
Make the most of the outdoor space with a gas grill and three outdoor tables. We also provide kids' sand toys for a fun day at the beach.

The main house kitchen features an oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, and all necessary kitchenware. The cottage has a refrigerator, sink, oven, and kitchenware. A large washer and dryer are available in the main house bathroom.

SPACIOUS & WELL-APPOINTED INTERIOR
The main house boasts 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and ample seating. The master bedroom has a memory foam king bed and fantastic views of the bay, pier, and Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel. The second bedroom has a queen bed and an attached half-bath, while the third bedroom features a full and twin bunk bed. All rooms have cable TVs, and the house has a washer and dryer.
The optional cottage includes a small kitchen, living room, queen bed, and a pull-out single sofa bed. It also has a bathroom with a stand-up shower and cable TV and internet in both the bedroom and living room.

Perfect Ocean View Waterfront Home
My family had a wonderful stay at Jeanie's waterfront home. The house was really lovely, very comfortable and spacious, and was well stocked for all of our needs. The beach was perfect and we loved how close it was to the fishing pier which we ended up walking to along the beach daily! I would definitely stay here again!

Spring Break
Jeanie and Kim's house was wonderful. All we needed to do was get groceries from the store and we were set for our short spring break trip - everything else was provided! Direct access to the beach, plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the view, ample area in the house to be together or for alone time.

Paradise on The Bay

An Oasis

My family and I rented the house and cottage and both were lovely, cozy, and had everything we needed and more! This is also one of the only vacation rentals we’ve stayed in that had great working AC & wifi. The property was perfect and we appreciated the accessibility for the in-laws. Beach getaway
The house is very large. Nicely furnished and decorated. We had thanksgiving diner there with 7 gilts and 4 children and the dining room was more than adequate. Nicely appointed kitchen where we prepared the meal. The beach is a very short walk. We would definitely like to come back again maybe in the warmer months. The owners always responded to emails or Vrbo messages promptly

Beatiful home, great location,
We stayed 7 nights end of July 2023, this is our 5th year coming to Norfolk VA, and this has been the best overall rental we rented. The beach was mostly private, the house was plenty roomy for all of us. Huge deck, outside shower to clean off after the beach, AC works great, beds were super compfy, and had everyhting and then some for our stay. We also loved being so close to the fishing pier, the kids loved fishing. Thank you so much for helping us make the most out of our stay.

Relaxing perfection with access to so much fun!
We were blessed to stay for a week and that still didn’t feel like long enough! The views. Let me just start with that. I woke up every morning to the sunrise over the water. The decks are wonderful. Being able to see the view from even the main floor and deck is a plus! The home had all of our needs, and the grocery store a few blocks away had the rest. Beyond our needs, we had extras at our disposal, like beach towels, beach chairs, a sun canopy, paddle boards, boogie boards, single kayaks and a double kayak!!!!! Also, any question or issue we had was immediately addressed by the owner! Communication was excellent.

Family Vacation
The house was nice. The view was amazing. Loved all the outdoor sitting areas. Used the house and the cottage. The house had everything you needed for inside the house and for at the beach. The only complaint was the cleanliness of the house. Had a small problem and the response was right away and Kim was at the house within a few hours. Already recommending the place to other people.

Perfect for families!
We had a wonderful week at this lovely property! Our family of 6 was comfortable in the beach house, and my father enjoyed his own space in the cottage. The view was just amazing, and we usually had the beach to ourselves. The house was stocked with everything we needed...even birthday candles! We took advantage of the kayaks and paddle boards, and appreciated all the other beach supplies made available to us. There is so much to do in the area...and this really is a convenient spot. We went to Virginia Beach on several occasions, downtown Norfolk, and Williamsburg...all relatively short drives away. I would highly recommend this truly great rental!

Early thanksgivings
It was a good stay. The weather turned windy and cold but we manage to go sightseeing. We did get to the beach for our grandson to play in the sand. My biggest complain is the small rugs on the stairs were not attached real good which was a tripping hazard. The master bed was so high and solf that i had at hard time getting in it and im 5 ft 7.5 inches tall. The bed was really to solf for me.

Great stay on the beach
Beautiful! The photos don’t do justice to this huge house. We had a gathering in this house over a long October weekend and loved it. We rented the cottage as well (it’s more like another little house) and could have easily had ten of us there. The bedrooms are massive and very nicely appointed. The bathrooms are lovely (soak in the huge jacuzzi tub downstairs). The kitchen is enormous and bright. We spent a lot of our time just sitting on the porch having a great time. The location is right on the beach, convenient for the pier and all the fun in the area, like fishing and the Hampton Coliseum.

Ocean View 2023
This property is beautifully located on the bay with easy access to the beach. We enjoyed watching dolphins, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming, sunbathing and playing games on the beach. The house has a very well equipped kitchen, flat screen TVs in every bedroom, decks with tables and chairs at three locations as well as a nice gas grill. The property owners also have a well equipped gear room providing guests with everything from chairs to fishing nets, a canopy, sand castle tools and a wagon to transport everything to the beach. Convenience stores and the Ocean View Pier are within walking distance. We watched Naval and cargo ships move in and out of the bay daily. Everyone enjoyed our time there and hope to return again in the future.

Great Views with Odd Setup
The views from the porches and access to beach were great! However, the set up of the house was very odd and difficult for my older mother, The master bath is on the first floor with no bedroom. While the listing says the bedrooms are upstairs it’s not super clear that the master bath is downstairs alone. The upstairs bath with the shower is a shower in a claw foot tub so way too hard for an older person. You also have to go through the master bath to get to the outside porch from the back of the house or you have to go up to the front doors otherwise. The master bathroom also smells like someone did some heavy smoking in the past just in that room? Overall the house was clean but just difficult to navigate.
