"The Josephine room was amazing. We booked it for a week over Christmas with the goal of having a place where we could hunker down and cook a nice meal on the 24th and 25th. The place was perfect. It's a short walk into town and the Christmas market, or you can walk along the canal, or even head into the hills for a hike which we took advantage of on a couple occasions. "We had a wonderful stay at Chambre d'Hotes L'Ancienne Ecole. It is a beautiful period property in the lovely town of La Wantzenau. Katia is an amazing host, with passionate knowledge of the Alsace area. Nothing was too much trouble, with a tasty French breakfast each morning. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in the area."
