"Honestly when I read the reviews about this place after my husband booked, I was very sceptical. People said it was dirty, had cockroaches, no hot water. None of this was true. About the hot water, you must realize that water heaters in Europe are half the size of North American ones. We had plenty of hot water. The only thing we didn't like are the beds are a little hard but it was the same at the previous place we stayed. We made do. Also tile floors are always cold which I'm not fond of but...

"A truly wonderful top deck apartment with a lovely view. Clean and with everything you need. A short walk to Sao Rafael and Arrifes beaches. Complex pool is excellently maintained. Great pre-holiday communication with the owners and brilliant check-in with Terry. We loved this apartment and it made for a memorable holiday. Plus, Uber makes access to anywhere else very simple!"

"Spacious condo in perfect location from beach, restaurants and nightlife. Literally a few minutes to all that you could want. Private parking is a plus. We really enjoyed our stay. The condo is very spacious with two bedrooms and 2 baths. Also has a little patio where we enjoyed our coffee. Washing machine came in handy as well."

"Our second stay in this property and, as before, we were not disappointed. Spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped and nicely furnished. The huge private roof terrace with spectacular views is wonderful. A car is required for trips to the coast or supermarket shopping but there are nice walks close by and a lovely local shop/cafe and we had some nice meals in the local restaurant. "

"This property is lovely and perfectly situated in the heart of the village. Whilst there are bars with live music very close by, it didn't keep us awake at night. The terrace area of the apartment is fantastic - it's really big with enough room for sunbeds. We stayed in September and the sun shone on the terrace all morning until around 12.30-1pm and then it was fully shaded. We loved sitting there and watching the world go by. The pool area is nice and I often had the area to myself...

"The apartment was very nice, overlooking the pool. Every morning we awakened to the most beautiful sunrise. The town of Olhos de Agua is tiny (population 4,000 approx.), but the locals are very nice. Local restaurants and coffee shops are not all open in February, but were beginning to open by the end of the month. It's just a short walk to the ocean, and we did a great deal of walking. However, there is very good bus service between the towns in the Algarve and also train. It is a good vacation...
