"Our experience was lovely! We stayed two nights. The staff was so accomodating--it was our first experience at a traditional ryokan, and the staff was very helpful in explaining various customs. They made us feel very at home. The free shuttle to and from the station was very convenient and easy to reserve. "This was my first time to stay in a Ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) and I really like it! The hotel was a bit old but still in good condition. They have indoor & outdoor hotspring pool plus many other facilities for you to enjoy during your stay. Buffet breakfast & dinner both were great too. Free shuttle service available too to pick up from/drop off to Kagaonsen station. Thumb up!"

"My only complaint is that it was difficult to find (I recommend not bothering with trains/busses and just take a taxi. You’ll save yourself a lot of grief). Otherwise I have nothing but great things to say! It was quiet, clean, and the staff were incredibly accommodating. "This ryokan was a top experience of our two-week trip in Japan. Such a charming and unique oasis and glimpse of traditional Japanese life. The rooms and facilities are even better than pictured. An onsen is included in the price, and you can go as often as you'd like. We highly recommend their nine-course meal that you can reserve (for an extra fee) up to two days prior to your stay. They even accommodated our group member's gluten allergy. The ryokan is easily accessible by bus from Kanazawa...
