Great home in a wonderful location.
This was our second time staying at this home and we loved it both times. The place is clean, comfortable with a beautiful view of the water. We loved being able to kayak every day and the location was very convenient to the bike path.

Perfect Little Getaway
This was a work trip for us but this home made it so much more enjoyable. After working 10 hour days this is the perfect place to relax, unwind and cook a great meal to eat out back with the waterfront view.

Best kept secret location in Venice
We really liked this home. It was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The view was amazing. We will definitely return to this property in the future. The perfect sunrise for a cup of coffee.

Lovely and spacious spot with plenty to do!
My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few days while visiting family nearby. The home is stunning - very clean, modern and spacious. We especially enjoyed the fishing and kayaks - what a fun way to pass the time! Our hosts were also lovely - friendly, easy to contact if needed and knowledgeable about fishing (which my boyfriend was grateful for LOL). We had a fantastic stay, hope to be back and would highly recommend!!! Thank you Schane and Christine for having us.

The location of this house is on a quiet cul-de-sac near a great walking/biking trail and not far from the beach. The owners are friendly and responsive. We had a fantastic two weeks.

Outstanding property and hosts!
It was our great pleasure to stay in this lovely home over the Christmas holidays. Schane and Christine are amazing hosts who provided great service and communication prior to check-in and during our stay. The home has been recently rehabbed and everything was done first class. Beautiful finishes, sparkling clean, lovely view-all in a great location. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Venice/Nokomis area!

Great place to “Chill Out” would also be good for a family.
The house was great, everything you need from the kitchen equipment to the bed linens it’s all there. We cooked each night, did use the grill for shrimp & a steak. No complaints, I would suggest a king size bed (kinda tight being in a Queen) and some better silverware. The place is great I highly recommend you staying there.

Our group of 4 adults really enjoyed our short stay at Shanes place. It is a beautiful setting off the canal with everything you could possibly need. It was effortless checking in and the folder notes explained procedures and resources very clearly. Nothing was lacking here-- kudo's to Shane!!

Beautiful sanctuary close to bustling vibe
This property is exactly as advertised and may be better. Being able to take the kayaks out right from the front lawn was an amazing experience. Quiet, comfortable beds, and fully equipped kitchen all made for a comfortable and luxurious day. Shane was wonderful to deal with. We will definitely book this property again.

This house was everything we hoped it would be. We enjoyed cooking out on the grill and eating in the screened in patio. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and is clean and bright. We really enjoyed staying at the Curry Creek getaway. The house has been totally renovated and updated. We really enjoyed the screened-in porch with the view out to the water. Christine & Schane were extremely helpful and gracious hosts, even offering a welcome gift to our family. We visit the area to see family and will definitely stay again.

This house is perfectly located for couples or small families visiting the greater Venice area. The backyard is calming with a canal out back perfect for enjoying early morning coffee and evening glass of wine. The hosts are terrific, live nearby, and know the area well if you need help navigating it. A big thumbs up!
