"The location is wonderful with game regularly visiting the river from the Kruger opposite. When we arrived, about a dozen elephant were wading across and hippo were wallowing. The rooms each have their own private terraces where fires are lit each night, and open up into a lovely common area where birds and the 3 incumbent nyala are encouraged. "My sister and I had a girls trip and chose the Perfect place to stay. I love the small and more intimate places and this was not too busy. Absolutely fantastic staff who were so happy to see you and nothing was too much trouble for us. "

"Booked through Expedia, arrived at 3 AM to a room full of insect bombs and dead cockroaches. Was told it wasn’t the hotel’s fault because it was a private renter’s unit, and if I wanted a clean room, I had to pay more. Got kicked out by 10 AM anyway.
