"Beautiful rural area with spectacular views and nature. The Gite was gorgeous, clean and well equipped with spacious rooms, comfy beds and a lovely swimming pool with an incredible view. Our hosts, Didier and Elizabeth were very welcoming and friendly. We had a wonderful stay with our two teenagers. It is the ideal place to relax and take time out for a well needed break in the middle of nature, with the Pyrenees providing a stunning backdrop. The views are fabulous, the pool warm enough to swim in all weathers, the gite is very well-equipped and the wood burner was most welcome on the cooler days. Our daughters loved the pool, the swing and the PlayStation and we enjoyed the stunning sunsets, the games and the Netflix access. "I cannot put into words how good our time in Escala was. Graham was absolutely incredible as a host, and the house is impeccable. It’s a perfect getaway for friends and family, in the most scenic picturesque location. The house has everything: a pool, jacuzzi, plenty of common areas, a second house!! It’s honestly one of the best places we have rented as a group, and hope that many others get to experience the place the way we did. Thank you Graham for a marvelous stay!"
