"I had the pleasure of staying at Parterre Self Catering Apartments 28 years ago, and I was delighted to see that the apartments have been significantly upgraded since then. They were exceptionally clean, and the hosts left a lovely surprise gift for us upon our arrival. "Property is a good size and was more than big enough for our party of 6 The only down side we found was the parking As we had a mini van, the width of the space to get to the parking at the side of the property was too narrow and therefore had to resort to parking in a car park at the end of the road at extra cost. Other than that, no issues and had a great stay"

"We are pensioners who often visit the Island to catch up with friends. This was the best apartment we have found for cleanliness , comfort and locality for a relaxing break. We loved the views that we were able to enjoy from the grounds of the property. The parking on the premises is a bonus too. We will definitely be back."

"First time at Saltys on a trip to Ventnor. Fist impressions were the amount of steps but then the property is on a hillside. You couldn't get better views of the sea once you've climbed to the flat. If you can handle the steps there is no better place to stay. Only gripes would be the dirty oven we had to wash before being able to use and the cheap bedding/linen and lack of loo roll. Would have no hesitation to return."

"I chose this accomodation to celebrate my 10th wedding anniversary. It was a dream come true. Everything was absolutely perfect: a romantic nest only a stroll from the centre of Ventnor, bedroom overlooking the sunset on the sea. Great host! What more do you want? I highly reccomend it. "
