"All of the staff were so sweet and accommodating! Our favorite go to place was Northwoods Pub for dinner and drinks. Our bartender Steve was spectacular. We stayed in the lodge, and had a beautiful view of the lake. The spa was heavenly, and the other guests there were so fun to be around. My only complaint is how quick our weekend came and went! We have already started talking about when we can come back!"

"Shady Hollow deserves an easy 5 star rating. My husband and I stayed with our 5 children aged 1-8, and it was perfect. We all enjoyed the beach, beautiful lake view, swimming, paddle boards, fishing, pedal boat and kayaks, which was included in the cost. "We couldn’t check in until four in the afternoon and had to be out by 10 in the morning on Sunday, and so even if you have two nights you feel as if you only had one day. The price was rather high for just one full day…. And two nights . It wasn’t on the lake but It was a clean and a decent rental unit."

"We had a very nice stay at Nature Link Resort. We arrived after hours and the owner was very accommodating. We had no issues getting into our unit. We were on the second floor and there’s no elevator but we had fortunately packed lightly so it wasn’t a problem for us. The room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom was quite large. "We three sisters spent three nights at this property. One thing was mentioned in another review: keep right at the fork with the sign for the Paul Bunyan Trail! The road was difficult to follow when covered with the abundance of colorful leaves! Great place for walks, bonfires and feeling the peace. The home was beautiful. "While we did not have children with us, it’s the perfect location to stay for a long weekend getaway. The large RV literally feels like a cabin. Onsite water activities for kids and adults on hand. Owner was easy to access from a communication perspective. If you like spotting Loons, this is a great location to sit on the dock to admire these magnificent birds."
