"The family did a great job of making us feel welcome. The food they cooked for us was great. And the accommodations were nice. The beds are softer which is nice as a westerner not used to Vietnamese beds. Also all their pricing was very reasonable."

"We spent two nights at the Fairy Mountain Retreat, it is such a nice place. The moment you enter they welcome you with a smile. It is so peaceful here, the location is perfect, all the sites are accessible via bicycles or scooters. Thuy and Hai are awesome. Thank you for your hospitality!!!"

Ninh Binh itself is much like any other town, but the local world heritage sites are why you come here... and it is very worth coming to Ninh Binh to access these sites. They are truly remarkable... and if you come, stay at the Salina Hotel!

The city itself of Ninh Binh has very little to offer. I was traveling with my dad and renting scooters wasn't really an option, so we went with a private driver. I think next time, renting a scooter and starting early would be the move to make.
