My friend and I were there to attend a funeral would loved to have stayed longer but had to get home for Mothers day. A most enjoyable few days even though we we there for such a sad occasion."

"The Freighter Truck was a lovely place to stay. Very quiet and relaxing. The added touches like the bath on the deck and the bathrobes were a nice touch. There definitely could be some improvements but overall a great stay. "

"We had such an incredible stay at Perri and Tim's property. The views, the macadamia orchard, the sauna, the comfy bed. Nothing to fault in this beautiful location. It was such a pleasure meeting Perri, and she went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We cannot recommend this stay and this location more, the proximity to Newrybar for a great cup of coffee and Bangalow for some lovely shopping is also a huge drawcard. "I was looking for a cute home to stay in for the week to use as our home base to come back to from our little day trips and it was perfect! The Old Shop was minimalist and clean and you could tell a lot of thought and love went into every detail of creating this little home. Courtney was a great host and happy to help us with anything we needed, responding to messages so quickly. I will defs be back to experience the Old Shop in winter!"

"I feel sorry for the owner paying top dollar for a premium holiday house management company. On day one I had to move the pool cover to clean the pool of countless leaves and foliage before we used it.We then had to change out the gas cylinder ourselves after having cold showers on morning that the Luxico person whom met us on check in day acknowledged that it was nearly empty and yet did nothing about it. We then had to fix the washing machine ourselves as it was not working on arrival ..Albeit...
