"Terrible experience. Terrible customer care. The hotel was shut and they refused to refund me. We (my wife and my 4 year old child) arrived at the location and the gate was shut. The nice lady who was at the hotel (we were unable to speak to her in the local language) did not let us through the gate then called someone who told me that the hotel was under refurbishment hence shut. "This hotel is close to a lovely beach, but the hotel itself is very old-fashioned and shabby. The rooms are quite large but very bare, the lighting is poor and the curtains don't open (though I tied mine back with socks!). The king-size bed has 2 very thin mattresses through which you can feel the boards underneath, and the pillows are small, hard and lumpy. As it was out of season, there were very few staff, and no meals except breakfast, which was served to me by the manager! The best...
