"To describe this place as refurbished was ridiculous. Old, tatty, grubby, worn, unloved would be more accurate descriptions. A part of the bathroom wall was actually missing where a tile had come off, leaving a hole in the wall big enough for a family of rats to come through. It was game over for me when I sat down on the bed and a giant cockroach scurried across the floor from under it. "My room had an overwhelming smell of cat urine. It had old paneling from the 70's. There was a gap in the door and the frame. I could see right outside. I'm glad it's not winter. The air conditioner took a long time to cool the room. I thought I had already paid for my room through Expedia; however, the lady in the office had me (hand write) a registration card with all my information. Then she ran my credit card.
