"The Emerald is a beautiful, homey place and I enjoy stopping there on my frequent trips. It's affordable, and simple (no extra accessories), but I am good with that. Always very clean. They are very convenient coming from the airport on the hourly shuttle service. Being a single lady traveling alone, I would appreciate it if the door were a little stronger (no loose door knob, a sturdier lock, etc.) just for securit's sake, but otherwise I am happy with the property and services. "Upon arrival they did not have any record of my reservation however they did honor it once I showed my receipt. Called for airport transport but no answer. Took taxi (more expensive) to the locked gate. Proceeded around the corner and waited at a coffee house until they answered the phone. Once there however they were very pleasant and accommodating. "

Went at first room they show me to stay in, 1 window handle missing and anyone can climb in at anytime, almost no cellphone connection except with their wifi, I asked for another room, used cup in zink, no kettle, bed not neatly made and on top, next morning early I need to go and the door cant open from inside, I needed to scream for help and the door could be opened from outside. "This is a lovely setting and the hospitality is warm and welcoming. The rooms were comfortable - the only issues we had were that one of the electrical outlets was dead and the ceiling fan wasn’t operational, so had to swap out electrical charging station for portable fan to sleep. But VERY minor issues given the very comfortable rooms and baths, delicious food, and obvious desire on everyone’s part to make us feel at home. Stevie and Espíe were especially delightful and accommodating."
