It is a short cycle ride to Saint-Martin, to the centre of Bois-Plage (where there is a market every day during the summer) and to the beach. "The property is located in a quiet residential street near to some local shops and about a mile on foot to the Vieux Port - a lovely tree lined stroll. The house is small but perfect for two people. We only used the ground floor - bedroom, shower, wc, kitchen and a nice sunny sitting room leading out into a small garden. NB Access to the basement accommodation is via very steep stairs. Only practical for the young and nimble! The house is a good base from which to explore the wonderful port town...

"Wonderful spacious house and garden in a a great location. Marsilly has many facilities including a supermarket, boulangerie, take away pizza shop and bar. La Rochelle is also only a 20 minute drive away."

"Erholsam, ruhig. Das Haus passt gut für 4 Personen und ist schön eingerichtet. Tolle Terrasse und schöner Garten! Lage super für Radtouren, mit dem Rad sind es nur wenige Minuten zu einem der schönsten Strände der Insel. Die Kommunikation mit der Besitzerin und der Verwalterin hat bestens geklappt. Die Sauberkeit liess etwas zu wünschen übrig, da die Vormieter putzen. Aber dafür kann ja die Besitzerin nichts. "
