"I booked this apartment for the view and the price. The view was so amazing, almost the best in town I'll bet. This is an apartment, not a hotel, so don't expect amenities. (I did not). 2 bedrooms and a bath. The beds were comfortable and clean. The pictures are accurate. It was very humid when we stayed. A fan would have been a great addition..Communications with the property were very good. Someone in the cafe next door was very helpful with our questions. You do have to carry your luggage up...

"The apartment am Grundlsee is a beautiful modern apartment with all the amenities. Everything we needed for our stay, for cooking and sleeping. Location is right in the middle of the tiny town, and the only drawback is that it sits right on the main road, so there is daytime traffic noise, but nights are fine. The lake is right across the street and the view is amazing. Grundlsee is a piece of heaven on earth!"

The location of the apartment is perfect, with amazing views of the mountains at one side, and direct access to several mountain routes at the other one. The apartment itself is very cosy, what you would expect for a place to relax in the Alps. "We enjoyed staying at this resort. We stayed in one of the larger rooms in the main lodge. The place was huge! One bathroom, washer/dryer, two beds, a living room, kitchen and a perfect balcony with a view of the lake and mountains. We stayed only two nights and didn't use the kitchen, but we can see this would be a great place to stay for a while. We ate breakfast and dinner in the restaurant while spending the days exploring nearby attractions. Evening walks around the lake area and a beer on...
