"The location is amazing! It has both stunning views of lake on one side and mountains on the other side. The room was clean, well set, fresh smell and well set. Restaurant was top notch! Their Breakfast offerings have both cold and hot stations. They had fresh fruits and fresh veggies. Their morning chef Daniel was very accommodating in their Omelette Station and Finally the view from the Restaurant is to die for! Highly Recommended."

The living room has a sleeping sofa that can accommodate another person, but we used it as a living room. Cons: Pretty pricey but it is what it is for a place within waking distance of Hallstatt village center. Internet was quite slow. If you are planning to cook, be aware that kitchen utensils are somewhat lacking compared to most apartments of this type, and there are no condiments (oil, salt etc) provided."

"The apartment am Grundlsee is a beautiful modern apartment with all the amenities. Everything we needed for our stay, for cooking and sleeping. Location is right in the middle of the tiny town, and the only drawback is that it sits right on the main road, so there is daytime traffic noise, but nights are fine. The lake is right across the street and the view is amazing. Grundlsee is a piece of heaven on earth!"

"My stay at Margit and Manfred's was incredible. The location of the apartment is perfect, with amazing views of the mountains at one side, and direct access to several mountain routes at the other one. The apartment itself is very cosy, what you would expect for a place to relax in the Alps. "After we left we were charged 200 euros claiming that two living room pillows were wet outside and on the door of a storage room that was broken before we arrived, half a bottle of wine and olive oil that turned out to belong to the villa owner and we were not told anything about it. We received a threat that they would turn to the police and a lawyer. It's just a disgrace to charge such a large sum for such small things"
