"Denka and her husband are friendly people. The kitchen and bathrooms are very nice. They keep the apartment very clean. There are two qualities we look for in vacation properties, cleanliness and comfort. They pass with high marks on cleanliness but are an absolute failure on comfort. The beds are horrible, a 4" slab of foam on a bunky board. There are no comfortable seats except for the outdoor chairs on the deck. Parking can be a problem as there are 3 apartments in the building all of which...

"Rooms were extremely hot and weren’t ventilated. Internet was super slow. So many bugs in and outside the stay. As well the door handle literally came off just from trying to close it. As well when we arrived we found a towel that was covered in blood. "

"Beautiful home,great check in process,with an added bonus of a tour of the museum, by Rudolf thrown in. The house is immaculate and everything you need is supplied. Location for us was perfect, a middle point between Glacier 3000 and Grindelwald. "Everything about our 4 night stay at Klara's was wonderful. She was there when we arrived and explained everything. The views from the unit are spectacular.. The apartment was spotless and was fully equipped. Having a rental car is a good idea. Klara's house is within a 10-15 minute drive to many great hiking and viewing spots. If you are visiting the Interlaken area and are looking for a great spot to stay, you will not be disappointed staying at Klara's. Promise!"

"It was an amazing property with a great view. You could walk right down to the waterfront and several restaurants. It was extremely clean and well-maintained. There was parking on site. The only drawback was that it did not have a washer and dryer, which seemed to be advertised in the Listing. The owner seemed genuinely surprised by this and it was not a major issue. Overall, I would highly recommend this property."

"Our one bedroom apartment on the ground floor was modern and quiet and its location on the hill tranquil. The fully-stocked kitchen was appreciated, as was the attentiveness of hostess Denka. A better view of beautiful Lake Thun can be had from the first and second floor apartments, but these units are for larger groups. For two travelers, we would recommend this vacation rental. "

"We enjoyed a three night stay in this pastoral farmhouse apartment. Our hosts Marianne & Fritz were both welcoming and accommodating. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. This farmhouse is tucked away outside the small village of Oberbalm in the foothills of the Berner Oberlands. However, it is only a 25 minute drive to Berne city center, and about an hour from Interlaken. We would definitely stay here again."
