"Went to visit our son and this place was wonderful! Very clean, spacious, home, and comfortable bed. Had every amenity we needed. The host replied very quickly to messages, checking in was seamless. Had parking for our rental car and our son could park there too. Super close to many good restaurants and some shopping."

"The hotel was built in the 1960’s and appears to be mostly original, very mid-century. Everything was very clean. The hostess is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and included eggs, pancakes and bacon made to order. The location was great for us as it was walking distance to everything, including the train station. Like most places, English is spoken."

"The home is located in near the town center, and is very close to public transportation, and a 10-15 min. walk from the train station. The home was comfortable, and cosey. Miss Anne Marie was a wonderful host and was so gracious to us. Miss Anne Marie lives in the first floor, and the apartments she rents out are on the second and third floors. There is no elevator, so I wouldn't say that it is wheelchair accessible. We wanted an authentic German residential stay, and that is what we enjoyed. If you are looking for a more modern place to stay, this may not be for you, it is an older building, but we loved it and would stay here again. "The owner met us at the front door with the key. He was very friendly and accomodating. After that, we were alone and undisturbed. No noisy neighborhood, no traffic, no neighbors above, below, or beside that we could hear. Shower wasn't anything special but was by far the best we had in Europe. Beds were good as well and the location is solid. It is within walking distance of several restaurants, pubs, and essentials. The Air Base is a 15m cab ride away. Price was very reasonable. No complaints! Would definitely choose this place again. Thanks so much for everything!"

"The room was great with a queen bed ,a microwave ,a refrigerator and individual quilts. The only slightly negative thing was it was very hot the day we were there .the AC was not on and we had to go and ask how we turn it on as there was no thermostat for it. My husband came back with a remote . we could not get it to work and we had to go back again hoping that the office was still open. It was and then they said oh we gave you the wrong one. Well they never even told us about having to get the remote to work the AC when we checked in . that should have been automatic. Otherwise everything else was very good"

"Beautiful hotel nestled in the forest near the Nanstein castle ruins. There are walkways all around. The restaurant has limited hours as does the front desk. The room had the typical German amenities and decoration. I stayed in a single room so I wasn't expecting much room. The staff was friendly."
