NEWLY RENOVATED Flat in Nice - 3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms - AC, Wifi for 6 People

This beautiful, spacious (115 m2) flat located in the center of Nice, within 2 minutes walk from the main shopping street, 5 minutes from the beach, 3 minutes from the train station (you can thus visit Cannes, Antibes, Monaco and Eze within 30 minutes of each other) and 6 minutes walk from old Nice, this property has all the comfort you need after a day at the beach or sightseeing. It also has all the facilities to prepare for all your meals of your day including a scrumptious bakery opposite the entrance of the building and a grocery store, 100 meters away.

When entering the building from the last century, with secured access and a lift that will bring you to the 4th (and last) floor, you will immediately feel at home. Using the wooden carved entrance door, you will enter Caravel through a corridor that will lead you with the dining-room/sitting-room/open kitchen. As a family room, you will be able to enjoy a wonderful meal, watch television with all cables (and some English channels) and prepare a wonderful meal. The kitchen has all you can wish for: a kettle, a Nespresso machine, a dishwasher and washing machine.

For the night, you have 3 bedrooms to choose from:
- the green bedroom that has a king size double bed with a large wardrobe and a lovely secretaire to read your emails from your computer.
- the grey bedroom that has 2 single beds (these can be reunited to form a double bed if necessary) and a large wardrobe
- the taupe bedroom that has a king size bed and a wonderful wardrobe

You have 2 bathrooms and 1 separate toilets will provide you enough space for all to get ready to the beach or after it.

The first bathroom is an en-suite bathroom to the taupe bedroom and has his and hers sink, toilets and a bathtub.

The second bathroom that is shared with the green and grey room has a shower and a sink.

There's an attic above the taupe room that can host your children for a playroom and anything you want stored (suitcases for instance).

Should you want to come by car to visit the area (Monaco, Eze, Villefranche-sur-mer, Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, Antibes, Cannes, Vence or Saint-Paul de Vence), there's a multi-level parking, located 150 meters from the property that offers attractive weekly abonnement, securing your car during your stay.

This property comes with linen and towels. Beach towels are also available upon request.

Cleaning is included and a manager will come and meet you to ensure a smooth start to your holidays.

Checking times are between 4 and 8pm and checkout time is 10am. We are very flexible and would be happy to discuss your needs so please don't hesitate to discuss these point with us.

Stunning!
This apartment is absolutely fantastic. It is very large, even for 6 of us, with plenty of seating and a huge dining table. The kitchen is very well equipped and we easily managed to cook a couple of meals when we had had enough of eating out. Speaking of which, the location is brilliant - just a few minutes walk from the restaurant area and old town, 10 minutes from the beach and right next to a supermarket and bakery. Very helpful host too! I would definitely stay again.

Lovely apartment, perfect location
The apartment was just as the pictures - or better. A bright, open livingroom/kitchen with room for everybody and 3 spacious bedrooms. Very well equipped kitchen, eve teatowels and detergents for dishwasher and washing machine. Perfect location for exploring the city on foot. A good store for groceries and a lovely bakery both next door. We were 6 adults of 3 generations. Will definitely stay here again, and recommends it highly.

A perfect home from home to explore Nice from.
Right from the moment of booking my family and myself were impressed with the quick and thorough responses to emails from Ivan. It was clear nothing was too much trouble. Then we were helped to arrange a car from the airport which was waiting for us and took us to the apartment. The apartment itself was super, it was spacious with all the facilities that you could wish for. We were met there by Hanna whom explained how everything worked and took time to show us points of interest and restaurants on the map. This local insight was invaluable. Hanna also aided us through out our stay and helped us find train times and bus times. This really made our stay as we did not struggle to find the information ourselves we could just get on with enjoying ourselves. We were even given restaurant recommendations for a special birthday and we were delighted with the choice. In summary, a fantastic apartment with everything you could want and helpful people, Ivan and Hanna, that made our stay superb. Jackie and family

Comfortable, centrally located home away
We spent two weeks in Nice and cannot say enough good things about this lovely, centrally located apartment in the musician's neighborhood. The apartment is large, modern and comfortable. The three ample bedrooms have comfortable beds and an abundance of drawers and storage space. The bathrooms, like the entire apartment, has clearly been recently renovated. The kitchen has great appliances and was well stocked so that you could eat all your meals there. Finally, the living room is large and comfortable. You could not ask for a more centrally located apartment. We were able to walk everywhere in town, including the Alliance Francaise where we took a language course. The Place Massena and the Promenade des Anglaise are about a 10-minute walk while the train station and number 2 tram (which goes to the airport) are just five minutes away. There is a wonderful bakery where we bought our morning baguettes and pastries just down the block and various great restaurants are within a 3 to 5 minute walk. Finally, I can't say enough about our host Hanna. She was incredibly responsive. On our arrival day, she met us at the apartment and gave us a thorough tour and orientation. When we informed her that the Nespresso machine had broken, she went out and immediately purchased a new one for the unit. Finally, the bottle of rose wine that Hanna had waiting for us in the fridge was a nice touch. When we return to Nice, we would not hesitate to stay at this apartment.

Nice is Nice!
This property is perfectly located close to great shopping and the old city. The apartment is spacious, comfortable with all the updated amenities you want. Much bigger than I expected. The attention by the host and the property manager were unbelievable and please make sure you take advantage of the personal car service. Dorel is amazing!!

Loved our stay in Caravel! Beautiful furnishings and lots of space. Location is ideal w grocery, shopping, and Patisserie nearby. Short walk to town. Hanna Hess was such a great resource for us, helping us get our bearings and making some great recrommendations for tours/restaurants.

Amazing experience for a big family
Ivan and Hanna made our stay in Nice very comfortable from the moment we booked the apartment until the minute we left. The apartments are in a perfect area, not too busy, yet close to all needed destinations (like beach and shopping street). Also, there was enough space for our big family (7 people) and everyone felt comfortable throughout. Thank you very much Ivan and Hanna for our experience!

Very clean, spacious, airy, and well-appointed.

Awesome stay in beautiful apartment
Very nice, modern, roomy apartment. It was close to metro, beach, and tourist areas. Hannah the greeter was friendly and helpful. She took time to share recommendations on where to shop, eat and play. We had a great time and would recommend this apartment for a family or group.

Perfect location
Just returned from 5 nights at Carvela. Thank you Ivan for your prompt responses and help during the initial booking process and an extra special thanks to the lovely Hanna for arranging all our transport as well as the luggage storage on our last day. It proved to be a seamless service with all transport arriving on time . Much appreciated! Thank you also Hanna for your warm welcome on our arrival and tips of where to visit. Unfortunately the weather was not as welcoming !! As a result the boulangerie saw more of us than intended but even their delicious bread and cakes couldn’t compensate for the torrential rain. Carvela is ideally located for the shops, beach, trains etc and had the weather permitted we would have taken advantage of them all. C’est la vie!

Excellent Location
We were met on arrival by Hanna Hess having phoned her from the airport to inform her of our impending arrival. She was very efficient. spoke good English and continued to be helpful throughout our stay. My husband unfortunately had to return home early as he was unwell and I contacted Hanna at 10.00pm to ask her to order a taxi. She managed to do this despite the late hour which was very much appreciated. The flat was as described, it was very clean with crisp, clean, white bedding and everything else you could need. The best part about it was the location. It was literally a five minute walk from the railway station, 10 minutes walk to the sea front and 15 minutes to the old part of Nice which was charming. There is an old fashioned lift which my daughter and I were a little nervous of to start with but it had been serviced only a few weeks before and was actually fine. There is a supermarket a few yards away and a lovely boulangerie a similar distance in the other direction. There are plenty of restaurants within a short walk of the apartment and we will definitely be returning to Nice and this apartment. Thoroughly recommended in all respects.

Just Fabulous
From our initial enquiry regarding availability, Ivan's prompt and efficient response was fantastic, usually hearing back within an hour or so. A couple of days before our arrival we were contacted by Hanna who arranged to meet us at the apartment upon our arrival. She also kindly offered to arrange for a taxi to collect us at the airport which made life easy. Upon our arrival Hanna gave us a comprehensive tour of the apartment, how everything worked etc. The apartment is very tastefully furnished and decorated, and in a fantastic location. If there was one tiny thing, more of a request really, would be for mirrors to be put in the bedrooms! The only ones were in the bathrooms :( I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone and certainly hope to revisit again one day.

Great location, great accommodation
Caravel was great. The central location, close to town, beach and railway station, made life very easy whatever the weather. Efficient air-conditioning was also very helpful when it got hot. Hanna was most helpful when we moved in, she made sure everything was working and told us how to make them work! There was lots of room for the family - space to get together and space to be separate. All-in-all we had an exceptionally enjoyable time, and we hope to be back soon.

Highly recommend this beautiful place!
Our time at Nice, Caravel, was wonderful! Our host, Hanna, was such a marvelous help from the very beginning. We had a flawless arrival and pickup at the airport arranged by Hanna, to a seamless stay at the flat. The beds, room arrangements, supplies within the flat, Hanna had purchased nespresso packets before hand which was a nice touch. Our one "complaint" although not really a complaint but more a wish, was that there had been extra toilet paper as we had 5 in the flat and European rolls are significantly smaller than US rolls. We purchased some but for our short stay it was somewhat of a pain. Upon our arrival, Hanna met us at the flat, gave us a map and went over several dining options, of which we recommend, and reviewed the workings of the flat. Upon our departure, she met us and was even able to work with us as we had our children departing at a later time than our flight which gave them a place to store their belongings before departing. I would highly recommend!! We had two adults and three adult children and plenty of space! Would return here! Thank you!!

Très beau séjour...
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour... L'appartement est très propre, très spacieux (pour 6 personnes) et se trouve au sein d'un beau quartier à quelques pas du centre historique et des plages. Wonderful apartment!
We loved this apartment and would not hesitate to return! It was spacious, clean and a perfect, quiet location. We could walk to everywhere we wanted to go very, very easily. Lovely flat, superb location
We came for a week with 2 children. The Uber taxi from the airport took only 15 minutes to drop us at the flat. The extremely helpful Ivan made it a smooth and welcoming check in. The flat is perfectly located to enjoy all that Nice has to offer. There is a lovely boulangerie next door and the beach/train station/old town and main shopping streets only a short walk away. We enjoyed the night parade at the Carnival in Place Massena which like everything else was very close by. The flat was very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It was great to have 2 bathrooms so we gave one to the kids and had the ensuite in the master bedroom all to ourself. We came to enjoy some winter sun but also wanted to do some skiing. There is a very convenient ski bus that leaves every morning from the train station to 2 different ski resorts at a very nominal cost of €4 per person each way and brings you back in the evening. We just had to walk about 6 or 7 minutes to get the bus and it dropped us right at the ski resort. So we managed to get 2 full days of skiing done while staying in Nice enjoying great weather when we were not on the slopes. One day we went for a walk around the stunning coastline of the Cap Ferrat peninsula which was a very short train journey away from Nice. Would definitely book this apartment on our next trip to Nice.

A wonderful stay
Had a wonderful stay at Ivan's apartment in Nice. Ivan is a great host. He was there to greet us after having arranged a pickup at the airport for the six of us. The apartment is large and well laid out. On the 4th floor but there is a lift. It's an easy climb though particularly as a way to work off lovely long lunches and the like. We were 3 adult couples and the place accommodated us well with no one feeling cramped or on top of everyone else. Well equipped kitchen. A few minor problems with fridge and wifi but Ivan was keen to help. Comfortable beds, lots of towels. Is also well located and is only a few minutes from the patisserie and local bistros, five minutes to a good shopping and eating area, 10 to the promenade and Old Town and main shopping street. So was relatively free from street noise. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

Great relaxing stay
I just came back home from a tour in the south of France stopping in Nice for a few days and I have found Caravel. Firstly, it is located in the centre of Nice, very near avenue Jean Medecin where the tram goes and 5 minutes from the old town. The flat is spacious, clean, modern and confortable. I immediately felt like home when I first stepped in. All 3 bedrooms are quiet and tastefully decorated without clutter. The kitchen is well equipped and allowed me to cook for my family few evenings. Ivan, the manager, made everything easy: from the booking of a car at the airport, to welcoming us at the flat, to answering all questions during our stay, making our life so much easier. I will book this flat again - it is a promise.

Beautiful large flat in a great central location
I don't usually bother with writing reviews but this was a great flat and we were so pleased with the service that I decided to make the effort. The first impressions from the outside were positive because it looked like a lovely building but the inside was even better! There were lovely views from the windows with palm trees all around. Everything in the flat looked brand new and the place was very tastefully furnished. All the modern amenities you would expect from a luxury flat were there including hotel quality linens and a Nespresso machine but most of all we were thrilled to have central air conditioning which made the stay very pleasant. We have often found that holiday apartments don't match the impression created by the photographs. However, in this case the flat exceeded our expectations. It was huge and very well laid out. Every bedroom was spacious and the open plan kitchen/dining/sitting room was vast! It was a great place for the whole family to relax after a tiring day of sightseeing. The location of the flat was excellent. It was very close to everything of importance e.g. the beach, the old town, the pedestrianized zone full of restaurants, and the best shopping mall/streets of Nice. Food shopping couldn't be easier with 2 Supermarkets one of which was only 1 min walk away and the other was about 3min away. But most of all we discovered that there was a great boulangerie just 25m away from the building. We found out the times of day when fresh batches of bread were made so for breakfast as well as dinner we would eath bread that had only just come out of the oven! For a breadaholic like me, this was priceless! The flat was on a quiet street which meant that you could have a peaceful night's sleep despite the great central location which was moments from all the action. For a family with kids this was a perfect choice. There was a nice attic with sky lights which we didn't expect. The kids just adopted it as their play zone as soon as we got there and really enjoyed being up there. I must say that the host was superb! Apart from a great welcome, he was so helpful and very knowledgeable about Nice and the whole Cote d'Azur. We got great insider tips from him. The personalised service was a surprise bonus. There were 6 of us including the kids and grandparents. The place never felt crowded. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely book the apartment again on our next visit.
