This cozy 2-room apartment of 48 sqm, classified 4 stars, has been completely renovated with care in 2016 and with quality materials and products. It is located in a secure luxury residence which includes a closed private parking and a swimming pool with panoramic sea views and facing the legendary road of the Basse Corniche linking Nice to Monaco.
It combines the charm of the Côte d'Azur, the beautiful and sought-after view of the Bay of Villefranche and the impression of overlooking the sea from inside the living room.
He understands :

Villefranche-sur-Mer Magnifique
Our stay at this location was absolutely fabulous. With the breathtaking views from our terrace to the cleanliness of the unit one would be truly impressed. Our host Jean Pierre epitomizes graciousness having gone out and getting us fresh milk and tea as we checked in very late and had yet not acquired our car rental. We most heartedly recommend this stay to anyone that may be interested. We will most definitely be coming back.

Great holiday location
Stunning views of Villefranche, which is a lively town with some lovely restaurants. It is a steep climb up from the town/beach to the apartment- not for the faint-hearted! Easy day trips by train, and some great walks. Apartment is very well equipped, and hosts very helpful.

Lovely Apartment
Lovely clean one bed apartment with fantastic views, being central to Villefranche. We enjoyed our weeks stay and had hired a car so the parking was a bonus. The property was comfortable being in an elevated position over the town on a main road. The town Centre and train station could be accessed on foot if you didn’t mind climbing several steep stairs but the views over Villefranche-sur-Mer were simply amazing from the balcony. Would love to return one day.

We stayed at the apartment for a week and had a fabulous stay. The apartment has everything you could possibly wish for - we enjoyed the evenings on the balcony with a great bottle of wine and food sourced locally. As this is also near the railway station made great use of a train as a break from driving to go to Monaco, Antibes and Cannes. Would return in a heartbeat

We very much enjoyed the quality of this apartment. The unit is modern, clean and very functional for two people. Jean Pierre and Sabine were very responsive and available to answer any questions that we had. The view from the balcony is spectacular. Perfection!
My husband and I travelled to the south of France to attend the Monaco Grand Prix. Villefranche is the most perfect, picturesque little town and the best "home base" in my opinion to explore the coast. The apartment was pure perfection. Spotless, comfortable, everything you could possibly need is there. My favourite was the million dollar view from the deck...I sat there every morning and every night. I cannot wait to return and wouldn't stay anywhere else. Thank you Jean Pierre and Sabine :)

Excellent Stay
The hosts are absolutely incredible. They greeted me directly at the apartment and then made sure I had and understood everything I needed for my stay. The apartment itself is clean, stylish and welcoming not to mention that the view from the apartment is amazing. The apartment is even nicer than the online pictures. I highly recommend this apartment and expect to stay here on my next visit to Villefranche-sur-Mer.

Return to Villefranche
This was my second, month-long stay at this lovely property, with wonderful owners/hosts, Sabine & Jean Pierre. I was here for the month of October '19 just before the Covid outbreak & again for the month of Sept. '22, both times as a student of the Institut de Français. The open floor plan flat is perfectly sized for a single occupant or a couple. It is spotlessly clean, well-maintained, perfectly appointed & well-stocked with quality linens, plenty of blankets and has a surprisingly large amount of closet space in the single, large bedroom. Appliances are in good working order & easy to operate. The property is also gated, a plus as this time I rented a scooter to commute + sight-see. It has a gorgeous pool + sun deck available to use & BEST of all, a million dollar view of the Bay of Villefranche. In addition to the excellent aspects of the unit itself, it is well-located directly above the VF train station, which offers quick & regular service to Nice, or, in the other direction, Monaco and many of the small & not so small towns along the French Riviera. Just below the train station is a sandy beach and to the S, a short walk to the waterfront shops, hotels & restaurants of Old Town. The owners are polite, efficient, very responsive, punctual & organized. I have THOROUGHLY enjoyed both visits & hope to return again in the future.

Wonderful stay
We had a fantastic time staying in Villefranche. The apartment had everything we needed for myself, my wife and our newborn. The views from the balcony were amazing. It’s near a main road but the noise didn’t bother us too much. A bus stop linking to Nice, Monaco and beyond was very conveniently just outside the apartment and the train a short walk. Villefranche itself was lovely with enough bars and restaurants to satisfy our needs. The walk back up from there was uphill but manageable even with a pram. All in all would definitely recommend

We really enjoyed our stay in this one bedroom apartment. The view is by far the most stunning aspect of this holiday rental, it was such a pleasure to wake up to the bay of Villefranche in all its glory. We miss it already. We are a family of four, we are active and were happy to explore the local area by foot as well as explore further afield by car. You can walk to the old part of town in 10minutes and the beach is closer still, the area is of course hilly so keep this in mind, there are many steps hence why you get such a view! We had a great stay, thank you!

The apartment was spacious and well furnished and equipped. Wonderful view of Villefranche harbour and a delightful balcony. Unfortunately it was rarely possible to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the view and the sunshine due to the endless noise of traffic from the two main roads that ran either side of the block. Fortunately the noise couldn't be heard in the bedroom so my sleep was not disturbed. The only other drawback was the complete absence of restaurants, cafes or shops in the area, not even a boulangerie. I had to carry my shopping back each day from Villefranche on the bus. I was in Villefranche to attend a course at the Institut de Francais and hadn't bothered hiring a car although parking was available at the apartment. It was a 20 minute walk to the Insititut, no great distance but, again, with constant traffic. The apartment was lovely but I wouldn't want to stay there again, for the reasons given, and actually left two weeks early.

Beautiful and convenient apartment near Villefranche-sur-Mer
This lovely apartment has everything you need for a short and scenic stay overlooking the views of Villefranche-sur-Mer. The owners provided all the modern conveniences and helpful communications about checkin and checkout. The location is perfect, halfway up front the beach to the Moyenne Corniche. There is a good grocery store a healthy walk up the stairway to the Moyenne Corniche. Parking in the reserved spot was convenient as well.

This delightful 1 BR apt was the key to enjoying my 1 month stay in VF. Owners Sabine & Jean Pierre were flexible & accommodating w/some last minute travel changes both upon my arrival & departure. The apt was spotlessly clean, spacious for a 1 BR, well-stocked w/amenities w/ laundry access, automated blinds particularly useful for extended stays. BEST of all is walkable proximity to the center of town & all that entails: shops, bakeries, restaurants, L'Institute de Français is a 15 min walk, the VF train station is immediately down the hill below the apt. as is the beach, bus stops. View from apt balcony is breathtaking & will be missed!!

An amazing and fabulous time!
My husband and I rented the Fontaine’s spectacular apartment in Villefranche for two weeks and had an fabulous time. The location is perfect, close to shops and restaurants, the beach and train station, everywhere is walking distance. The view is spectacular, the apartment, new, modern and clean. The bed was comfortable too. There was air conditioning, washing machine and every amenity you need. The quiet, gorgeous private pool was the icing on the cake!!! A beautifully appointed flat with stunning views!
We had a lovely time with sunshine each day. The location was perfect for us so that we could make use of public transport. The Nice Carnival Parade was a highlight and great fun. We bought the tickets on the Carnival website in advance to be sure to have seats. We made day trips to Nice quite often and visited St Jean Cap Ferrat, Beaulieu, and Monaco. One of the best things about having a holiday is having a place with a view. This flat was the place as it has breathtaking views day and night! A lovely apartment with stunning sea view.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the apartment. It is ideally situated for visiting the area and within walking distance of Villefranche and easily accessible by bus or train. We didn't hire a car and travelled extensively on public transport, which is cheap and fast. The apartment is spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. Shops and restaurants are easily accessible and there is a lovely walk along the coastal path to St Jean Cap Ferrat. We love the area and will certainly be returning.

Nice apartment with exceptions
We stayed for six nights in this apartment and there were things we liked and things we didn’t. Some can be changed and some cannot. The apartment is very nice and furnished very well. What is provided is of top quality. Nice, fluffy towels, quality furnishings and a well-appointed kitchen and bathroom. The pictures are accurate. The view is lovely and and we never got tired of it! For a six night stay we were given one roll of toilet paper, two bath towels, hand towels, and one trash bag for a very small can that’s in the kitchen. There was no soap in the bathroom. We purchased toilet paper and soap and I emailed the owner regarding the lack of items. She stated that they only give renters something to get them started and the rest is up to us. I asked about the towels since there is a pool and she said they don’t provide them. So we had one towel to use each all week and nothing for the pool. After a few email exchanges she offered to provide us towels and trash bags and after a day and a half we did receive them. I am hoping that the owner will make some changes to provide for renters for each day of their stay. She seems very nice and I believe she is receptive. So this can change along with the fact that the washer was broken during our stay. Here is what will not change: The apartment is flanked on two sides by busy roads. One is the main road leading to both Nice and Monaco that the terrace and living area faces. The other is a side road that is also busy that faces the bedroom. There is a lot of traffic on these roads and since the main road has a stop sign at the intersection, the traffic starts and stops causing the vehicles to accelerate. There is an abundance of motorcycles which are loud and cause the most disruption. This noise is almost constant and definitely interferes with the enjoyment of the apartment. If you are someone who is used to an urban setting this may not bother you at all, but if you are thinking you are going to be sitting outside or sleeping with peace and quiet, you’re not. We chose to sit outside anyway and since you can’t shut the windows due to the temperature we just made the best of it. Again, the view is very lovely but this is something for people to consider. The train station and town are below the apartment and you have to cross and walk a bit on the busy roads before you can dip down and take the stairs down (more than 100!). Again, doable but something for people to know.
