"Maison Abaka is an oasis in a chaotic city. It has a lovely location, right on the beach, overlooking Mgor Island. It also has some very nice decks with chairs around a tiny pool and overlooking the sea. The rooms were good, with all that one needs to be happy. They are not luxurious but they are comfortable and clean with good showers and decent air con. "I really enjoyed my stay mostly because of the view from the rooom,great food and very friendly staff. The layout of the hotel doesn't make you feel crowded. You can take a boat to Gore Island ,which 5 min away where there are other restaurants on the sea and a cleaner beach. The airport I 10 min away, so no time lost in traffic. Though the beach water is dirty,I wouldn't swimsuit many others did. Go to the island for a swim"
