"A beautiful house situated in a gorgeous location. We stayed for an extended family holiday - ages ranging from mid 60's to toddlers. Great bedrooms with plenty of bathrooms and a lovely aga to warm the house - even in August! Plenty of space for everyone, it never felt crowded, and all the little touches made it feel like home. "Only stayed for three nights, but thought it was a lovely place. The room decor is very modern/contemporary, which is what I like. Bed and bedding was comfortable, but was only a small double bed, presumably because the room was quite small. We will stay again , but will book a bigger room next time."

"A poor start when they failed to answer any of my emails, but my call was answered. The lodges, especially on the outside, were tired and a bit tatty, but everything was clean and functional. Beds were good and pillows were great. Very well equipped for self-catering and everything we needed for a family of four. The only irritation was that they allow pets and there was evidence of animal hair on decorative bed throws and cusions, but not enough to bother us. Parking was right beside lodge and...
