"We had an amazing overnight stay. Only issue we had during the night was the fact we could not get the air conditioning to work. Apart from that everything was fabulous, breakfast amazing so were the staff."

"Exactly as I expected from the other reviews. Very clean, friendly staff comfortable (enough) beds. Breakfast was super fpr the price. Free coffee machine (cappuccino, latte, hot chocolate, hot water, coffee) available in reception. Tea Service in room. Excellent city center location right across from the University. "

"This is in a great location but the room was a little grubby with the toilet needing to be flushed when we arrived and what felt like crumbs in the bed. The staff are helpful but their systems are soooo slow, taking a very long time to add anything to the room."

"First time at the lincombe hotel. Its been a wonderful stay. From our initial registration to leaving today service and staff have been first class. Cleanliness perfect both the room and hotel in all locations. We're are so impressed we've booked a weeks stay in July. "

"We loved the location, very quiet when we were there. Beautiful setting. Excellent service from reception. Our sea view room was stunning. The whole hotel was immaculate. The spa area was so lovely. Our only feedback is about plant based options at the continental breakfast."

"Not quite sure it meets 5 star standard. Room space is lovely, plush and beds super comfy. Bathroom quite basic but shampoo etc provided. Spa ok but could with refurb now as facilities dated. One if the steam rooms out of order. Large glass door smashed and awaiting repair. Loungers by pool were soggy and stank. Lifts up to the spa all out of order Breakfast was the highlight. Ok hotel but nothing special. "

"Lovely clean property in a gorgeous location in Salcombe. All the staff were friendly and our room had a partial view of the estuary which was lovely. The parking is a bit off putting as it’s on a steep slope and limited but the staff do take care of that when you arrive and can park your car for you. "The staff were really friendly and very helpful. Everyone was so welcoming to us and my dog. The room was spacious and warm. The bar was funny, playing Coronation Street on the big TV on Friday night was an unexpected vibe! The pool, sauna and steam room were lovely and warm, clean and inviting. However the changing rooms could do with an update! And no coffee machine working for morning coffees or espresso martinis was gutting!
