Crantock cottage is in the heart of the quintessentially Cornish village of Crantock, and is just a 5-10 minute walk via a footpath down to the beach, making it an ideal base for family beach holidays. In addition there are many local attractions and activities nearby in Newquay and Truro
Crantock is lovely picturesque village with many amenities including convenience shop, post office, tea rooms and a 400 year old thatched village pub which serves good quality food. Outside the heart of the village there is also a beach cafe and a cliff top restaurant and bistro looking out over the sea.

Nearby is the secluded beach of Polly Joke, without a carpark and only accessed via a footpath - it is perfect for relaxing far away from it all.

Newquay has a wide range of family activities (zoo, aquarium, cinema etc) souvenir shops and excellent night life. Newquay boasts 4 large beaches, which offer a variety of water based activities including, surfing lessons, coasteering, paddle boarding and fishing trips.
