"We recently stayed here for a family retreat with 20 people, ranging from adults to teenagers, kids, and even infants. The house exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s absolutely beautiful, well-maintained, and offers activities for all ages. The kids especially loved the ninja challenge course, while we all enjoyed the canoeing and kayaking—there were more than enough kayaks for everyone! "The house was nice, newer updates and a step up from the typical lake rentals in Maine. The main floor has a nice kitchen, living room, dining, master bedroom and full bath. Wish the upstairs had more than a loveseat for gathering and watching tv. The downstairs is big, has a bedroom, living area, and half bath. "We stayed here for family weekend at UMaine, as we wanted to be able to have a homemade family meal with our son. The place was clean and the beds were very comfortable. A light over the front door would be helpful when returning after dark, but that was the only negative. We would stay there again!"

"This July we had a family reunion in Newport with 66 people attending. My large-ish family wanted to stay together and the accommodations in the lodge at Fogg Brook Resort could not have been more perfect. The space was large enough for 10 of us to be together without being on top of each other and the deck space added even more room for us to enjoy. We've recommended Fogg Brook's VRBO space to everyone at our event and will definitely stay there again!"

"My husband and I absolutely loved this location. The view is spectacular and the property is immaculate. I would caution anyone traveling with older adults or very young children, there are a lot of stairs—in the house and down to the water. My father in-law claimed climbing up from the lake to the house was equivalent to climbing the Eiffel Tower. (It’s not, but you get his point.) We would stay again in a heartbeat!"
