The proximity of this home to the ocean is amazing. However, there is a lot of deferred maintenance inside and out. The exterior doors are incredibly weathered. The support posts outside are rusted out. The outside deck needs a power wash. The beds in all bedrooms need to be bigger and replaced altogether. The carpet needs to be replaced throughout. The shower door upstairs kept coming off the track. The window in the master bathroom could easily just fall out of the frame and has no support to hold it open. The downstairs sink faucet did not work on one side. The flapper in the toilet downstairs repeatedly got stuck. The cost of this rental is high for the state of this home. I highly recommend improvements in the areas above.

Great location, needs handyman service
Pros: Awesome location, check-out was easy, love the great room for family, had plenty of supplies for cooking and washing. Nice overall layout with lots of room for family of 6. Liked having the 2 twin beds downstairs and 2 primaries with bathroom access upstairs. Cons: Upstairs mattresses need to be replaced and were not a good sleep for these guests. Both tvs downstairs did not work. Contacted vacasa with no fix. All tvs seem to be different set-ups as well, which was confusing. Limited channels for sports. One of the sinks downstairs didn't work for the cold side. The door to the sunroom didn't close all the way (not a big deal, but would be good to fix).

Needs some maintenance. All Mattresses on beds need to be replaced. Sink to middle of bed. A good pressure washing would do wonders for the outside of the house

Great rental!
This house is perfect for a large group or family, great location, short hike to the beach and plenty of space for everything. Well stocked with towels and linens. Could use some larger cups and mugs but overall had everything we needed. All the beds were super comfortable!!!

9 ladies stayed here. I was the first of two to arrive. Excited about the location and windows overlooking the ocean. The THOUGHT was the highlight.Please update the description page! Garage door has key pad & code you’ll never remember.Unfriendly spiral staircase reaches upstairs. Stairs bring you eye level with the floor up there. Eww. Floor was filthy. Food, hair, items stuck to it. Sign to take your shoes off downstairs but there are 0 ways I was walking on those floors.Walked the house & started cleaning immediately. I contacted Vacasa via the app & let them know. Resp. time 1.5 hours and I sent pics. We had already cleaned the house.They offered but would have been wasted time waiting for them to rectify.No other offering was made. Reported no coffee pot, as advertised, we purchased one because they Never responded. Needed coffee to get past our depressing surroundings. Rugs are nasty, light switches dirty, chairs @ the bar were gross & more. House keeping does most common areas. Linens and bathrooms were ok. Kitchen almost clean. Broke ice maker, only sleeps 8 NOT 10. Broken outdoor chairs in a pile on the balcony. 3 nasty camp chairs to sit in. Beds are awful. Smoke alarm missing in living room. Can’t make tvs work except living area. Home needs attention!! Marks on walls all over the home. Deep Clean! AND the trail down to the ocean - what a joke. It’s a steep jungle. No thanks. Vacasa - this is the 2nd dirty home of yours I’ve stayed in.Do better

Great Family Get Together
Fabulous view! Overall happy with the property but there a few things that need addressed: Storm door on lower level needs repaired and is a potential hazard, the glass is loose. Electronic door lock needs attention, took several attempts to get into the house each time we came and went. During high winds and rain this is very unpleasant. We called to ask for a repair and was told someone would get back to us but they never did. The gas fireplace stove does not work nor are there any instructions for its use. The needle on the turntable is missing. When we arrived the dryer was overloaded with wet towels. The toilet in the back bedroom on the second level sticks causing the water to continue to run.

The home is nice just needs TLC as it is showing wear and tear, clean, beautiful sunsets and views, quiet nice dead end road close to food and sights. We would stay again, just hate to see the property decline as it is on some expensive property.

Nice House, not beach aneeds attention
This is not a beach accessible house unless you are a kid or a mountain goat. The ad and pictures led us to believe the house was on the beach. Our parents could not make it down this path to the beach so we were sorry we rented this place. It was falsely advertised as beach accessible. Bathroom window will not open. Master bedroom window will not open!! These need repaired. The refrigerator makes a sound like a fire alarm every time it comes on, scare you to death. All three toilets need attention. Very often stuck running, need new flippers and maintenance. The tvs in the bedrooms did not work.!! For what this house costs, we feel ripped off. Most of the dishes are chipped! These chips traps bacteria.

Loved it....but needs some upkeep
The location was great, waking up to the beautiful view and ocean sounds daily were amazing. It was a great place to stay. However we felt like the house needs to be maintained better. It was clean. The bathrooms were great. But we had 2 TV's that wouldn't work because of the remotes. We had a couple of lights out in the bedrooms. One of the beds was so squeaky where you couldn't even move on it. And the sheets for the pull out couch had a blood stain on it. However they had plenty of extra bedding in the house that we were able to use. And we had to put a book under the table in order to use it. The chairs on the deck were broken so you couldn't sit outside on them. And the area by the front door outside needs to be cleaned. We would love to stay here again, just felt it needs to be maintained it a little better.

We rented this place because of location (great location!) But we expected it to sleep 10...it DOES not! There is only space for 8-fare warning! Also the condition the furniture was in was terrible! The dining room chairs had nasty dirty stains all over the seats, all the furniture is seriously worn and outdated and there were black scrape marks all over the walls. Just felt dirty. For the price (we paid over 1k a night), it was a serious disappointment. It was for my husbands 50th and we invited our friends to stay and we were embarrassed by the place, not at all what we thought we were getting. The beds all squeak when you move at all and they were old. The mattress toppers were comfortable but mattresses underneath a no go! This place has so much potential but definitely not what it appears. Keep in mind it DOES NOT sleep 10. We will not be staying here again.

I already left a detailed review weeks ago! why do I have to do this again? So, here is what I remember still. 5 woman for 2days and only 2 rolls of toilet paper extra in the house. No kleenex. The refrigerator was set at 45 degrees. The ad says it can sleep 10--that's asking 4 people to sleep in 2 twin beds! A little misleading. You could put a sleeper sofa in that room. The front door knob wouldn't turn. The outside porch door wouldn't open. Debris was in the side slider making it hard to open. 2 Toilet's would run on, one night waking up one of my guests. The only TV that worked was in the main room. One guest was thinking about renting the house early on with teenagers who could go to a room and watch TV, but they didn't work! So she passed. The view was great.

Beautiful setting & view. The beds in both upstairs bedrooms are AWFUL and would be a problem for anyone with back problems. There was nothing with written instructions about how to use anything, what to do with sheets & towels, etc. I would book a different place next time based on beds alone.

Great location and house size for a group
The house is very nice and large. It is set up for a large family/group to entertain and cook. Sliding door needs to be replaced. The forth bedroom is actually the garage with a pullout sofa and a tv area. Although it has beach access, a little maintance on the stairs down is needed--very steep towards the end. It has a great kitchen and appliances. There were only three wine glasses in the cupboard. It was very nice to have three bathrooms as well. Several remotes didnt work/have batteries. Excellent to have a washer and dryer. There were complaints that beds were uncomfortable, but we all thought they were fine. Neighbors were friendly to us. It would be helpful to have a checkout list posted on the wall as we were long gone by the time I recieved a text/email. We were happy overall and would stay again!

Great location and access to the beach was excellent! View from the kitchen family room is 180 degrees! We rented this for a Father's Day getaway and it was perfect. My only complaints were the dishwasher didn't work and the the price of the house I would expect everything to work.

Amazing location!
We were so pleased to be staying so close to the beach! The views were spectacular, especially the sunset. It was such a short walk down to the beach, too. The house itself was beautiful and had everything we needed.

Great location, terrible beds!
As other reviewers have said, the location is wonderful and the house is updated and feels modern. Loved the location and the quiet neighborhood. But the beds (also as previously stated) are terrible. As are the pillows. We are healthy people in our mid-40's who are generally great sleepers and not at all fussy, but we dreaded going to bed here because the mattresses were so uncomfortable.

Beware of neighbors!!!!!!!!
Property was very nice and in a good location at the end of a dead end street. Nice view from the living room, we could see the Yaquina lighthouse from the house, semi-private walkway to the beach (needs trimming really bad). Not a crowded beach and kids enjoyed playing in the sand dunes along the beach. We had a horrible experience with the neighbors. We drove in our RV from Texas for almost 2 days and towed our car. We were aware that we couldn't park in the street permanently, but since we had to unhook our car we parked in front of the house to get things ready to park. We had a problem with our car. I called my insurance company to get a jump start. We were there for about 30 min. Walking out the door I heard a neighbor yelling at my husband telling him that he couldn't park on the street. He tried to explain her our problem and she wouldn't even let him talk, she just told him: "I don't care, you have to move that car". I was so upset. I had all my 4 kids sleeping inside the Rv. All of a sudden the neighbor's husband comes outside and ask us again if we are going to move the cars. I told him what was going on and he said: "ok, I just think is crazy that people have an RV and come and rent a house like this on the beach". I told him: "It is our choice if we want to bring our Rv and rent a house on the beach" and he said: "Yes, this is America". Just a note: 'I am from Costa Rica'. My kids woke up and were upset for what was happening. This was supposed to be a wonderful vacation. Driving from Texas is a long trip and I wanted my kids to be comfortable, plus I didn't want them exposed to Covid-19 going to restrooms in gas stations. I don't think that if we have an RV we belong in an Rv park. After we got our car fix and park in the driveway we saw through the windows the "neighbors meeting" in front of the house complaining. Neighbors from each side of the house and another lady that joined in. We try to calm down and relax on the couch when we saw somebody at the door. It was the maintenance guy from Vacasa that came to check in on the situation. Apparently, neighbors call the police on us for parking in the street while we needed help with our car. Very disappointed with Vacasa, before the trip I sent a message and it took days for them to reply plus other 2 messages that they never answered. I was expecting at least an apology from them for the terrible experience with their rental but I never heard from them. Those neighbors hate renters

Beautiful view
The location is beautiful. The cleanliness left something to be desired. I found petrified bananas on the shelf in the pantry, dead bugs all over the rugs and couch in the garage area ( which they consider one of the sleeping areas as it has a hide away). Communication with property management was not great. They sent me the wrong door code and then I waited on hold for over an hour to finally get the correct code to get into the house. The path to the beach is rather steep in some areas and it's a little farther than it looked in the pictures. The smoke detector directly over the stove was annoying because if you had any steam with cooking it would go off. To solve this you have to run the vent on full power and have both the front and back door open while cooking. Overall we had a wonderful stay-cation. With covid most everything was closed but we really just wanted to quarantine with a different view anyway. This house was perfectly suitable for that, direct access to the beach to walk along, plenty of room to spread out and enjoy each other's company, and the views are amazing! Can't beat waking up to the ocean views everyday!
