- If you are bringing a dog, please note that the property does contain some Noogoora (cockle burr) bushes that can be toxic to dogs
- The water level in the river can be very high between late April and mid-June. Therefore, during this time, the private dock will not be accessible
- Because there is frequently a burn ban starting mid/late summer, we have a movie projector and outdoor screen that guests can hook up to watch movies outside near the fire pit area. The projector can be connected to phones or computers to stream movies
- Your safety matters. This property features 1 exterior security camera located on the front porch facing the driveway. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras record video and sound at all time

Lovely Property. Great Location
This was a wonderful property. Lots of room and great amenities. The view of the river was spectacular, the kitchen well stocked and we enjoyed the deck when the weather cooperated.

Totally Awesome!
This home was beautiful !….had all amenities you could possibly need, and so spacious! The covered porch was our favorite hang out area …from there you can see the river and watch wild turkeys and sometimes deer in the field across the road. I was in town for my 50th class reunion and close to the events. We will definitely be back!Communication with host Kari easy and always a quick response!

We had a wonderful time at the river house. The house had a warm feeling with ample room and it was a quick walk to the river. The turkeys were fun to watch and coffee on the front porch was amazing. We will definitely be back! Thank you!!

A Great Retreat
I’d highly recommend the River Cabin if you are looking for a peaceful retreat where you can take in nature, watch gorgeous sunsets, and have accommodations with all the amenities you could possibly need to feel right at home. In addition, Karie is a great host. She’s very responsive for any questions you may have.

Riverhouse Getaway
We had an amazing summer week out at the river! It was such a beautiful property, with great views. The house was very clean, organized and was stocked with everything you would ever need & more. The simple touches with the smores kit was a hit with my kids! We can't wait to come back this summer! I would also love to visit during the winter months to enjoy a cozy cabin vibe. Gorgeous scenery!
We absolutely loved the river house! It was such a beautiful get away. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The house is so beautiful inside and out, along with stunning views of the river and mountains. Every window had a view! I couldn’t get over how beautiful the scenery was from the living room. We even saw deer out there grazing in the evening by the river. The home was clean, felt comfortable, and cozy. We loved having easy access to the river to paddleboard/kayak and the dock was really nice. We would go back and stay in a heartbeat!

Wonderful Property!
I was scheduled to stay at this property for a few days for a work trip. The work trip was unexpectedly cut short. I was really looking forward to relaxing at the house in the evenings. The property is wonderful. Everything nice and clean when I got there. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you might need. I'll definitely stay here again in the future.

The Riverhouse was amazing. The hosts were so great to work with from beginning to end. Their place was amazing from the location, cleanliness, comfort of bed, deck, sunsets and views. Great snowshoeing in nearby Geophysical Sno-Park. I hate to give such a great review of this place cause it will be so hard to book in the future. The Riverhouse was awesome! The hosts were so great to work with from beginning to end. Amazing Stay and Cozy Vibes
I've gone both in the summer and the winter and I loved it every time! The house was cozy and secluded enough, the neighbors are sparse but friendly and the view is GORGEOUS! The river is clear and the amazing mountain views are fantastic. The house is well stocked, especially the kitchen which can tend to be iffy at rentals but there was everything I needed here and more. The living room and the fireplace are so cozy to cuddle up and read with, and there's a size-able tv to watch any show. Hanging out with family and friends is so fun here. The deck is super enjoyable to hang out on summer nights, whether you're grilling or playing games. The river is super pretty and fun to swim in, and at times it feels like a lake, with all of the peaceful vibes. One of my favorite scenic looks is the barn on the opposite side of the house. It is so pretty to look at and I love sitting on the deck to gaze.Overall, this was an amazing stay and I can't wait to come back. I will definitely be including this spot in my summer trips.

What a lovely riverside respite!
We brought our son and two small dogs to enjoy a quiet long weekend. The fenced yard was perfect for Harry and Henry to have a safe space on their own when we weren't taking them to explore the river. The house itself was very comfortable and charming. It was even better than it appeared in the photos (and that is almost NEVER the case!) I loved sitting on the comfy couch and taking in the beautiful sunsets and river views. The owners of the house put genuine and thoughtful touches everywhere and I really appreciated the huckleberry housewarming gifts. The owners were extremely responsive when we had a few questions leading up to our visit; it was nice to receive such prompt and human answers. Thank you for a very comfortable and relaxing weekend! All of your games were perfect and the kitchen had everything I needed. We all loved it!

Beautiful Inside and Out
We booked the property to be close to the river and spend some time out of the city. Little did we know how special our trip would be. Yes the river is beautiful and the views are dreamy but the actual home was equally wonderful. It had everything we could need and more and it was all so well maintained. Definitely a shiny new home feel to everything. Very comfortable sitting area with large TV. Spacious kitchen with all the gadgets and plenty of storage space. Fun bunk beds and separate Queen. The master bed was so comfortable and the bathroom so spacious. Giant walk-in closet. A nice deck with seating and dining and grill overlooking the river. Yard games and fit pit. Fun little family of quail and binoculars to watch from a distance. Board games, s’more fixings and a huckleberry gift basket just put it over the edge. We felt so special and the timing couldn’t have been better as our family had just been through a traumatic week before hand. We hope to stay again soon!

Hospitality Peace and Nature
Thoughtful touches abound at this lovely rental house. Comfortable, lots of on-site amenities, (games, books, essentials, like coffee, and tea, etc.). Lovely, quiet country Lane location. Easy access to the river and local trails, and nearby towns have lots of restaurant choices. Only Slight thing I found puzzling was No shampoo in master shower, only and Guest.

Perfect spot!
We spent the weekend here for my daughter's nearby wedding. The house was wonderful, the ground's beautiful, and the nice touch of a welcome package related to my daughter's wedding was sweet. Highly recommended!
