The Dock is where quality, service, and price meet to create memorable stays in Newport Beach. Travel groups of up to 4 guests without pets are welcome to book!

MAXIMUM overnight occupancy is the # stated in the reservation for up to 4 people (including infants/children). We rent to1-4 people only! We live nearby and personally check-in guests. Any travel group that arrives with more than 4 guests will be turned away and will need to find other accommodations.

LIMITED, INFREQUENT daytime visitors of 2 people maximum. Over occupancy, day or night will result in removal from the property without a refund.

Come relax and enjoy this beautifully remodeled home located in the "sweet spot" of the Balboa Peninsula. The Dock is the back unit of this duplex home. Walk to all the best spots Balboa Peninsula has to offer! If booked, please consider The Dock sister property Starfish Cottage HA/VRBO #787473.

Typical Dock Day: Walk 2 short blocks to the beach for sunrise, enjoy a cup of Keurig brewed coffee or tea on the large shared front patio, shower in the elegant, cozy bathroom, watch your beloved sports team or movie on the Samsung 55" UHD/Smart TV in the living room or the Samsung 40" UHD/Smart TV in the bedroom, use provided beach chairs and boogie boards to get lots of sand between your toes, BBQ on the natural gas grill or walk a block maybe two to a fantastic restaurant, watch the sunset, and read followed by sleep on a comfortable clean bed. The next day hit repeat with a few changes for variety.

Details, Details: Garage parking (measurements 6'9"HX9'Wx17'D) small to midsize sedans/SUVs), Bedrooms have A/C Units, DIRECTV Ultimate Package plus movie channels, DVD/Blu-ray player, Internet/WIFI, Fully stocked kitchen with granite countertops, Samsung stainless steel appliances, one bedroom with a King bed and 40" TV, one bedroom with 2 Twin beds, both bedrooms are located on 2nd floor above the garage, the bathroom has custom tile and stone shower and granite top vanity with ornate mirrors above, private full-size Maytag washer/dryer, high-quality linens provided, a starter set of soaps and paper goods included. Towels including beach, bath, hand and wash clothes plus kitchen towels provided. Large, shared front patio with Weber natural gas BBQ, table with comfortable cushioned chairs (seats 4), and beach gear (4 beach chairs, umbrella, 2 boogie boards). Live plants accent the home inside and out. Come make some wonderful, happy memories at The Dock!

Please note a typical day at The Dock does NOT include beer pong or any type of smoking. The Dock is NOT a party place! It is a smoke and drug-free property

Out of respect to our neighbors, the patio closes at 10 PM. Our neighbors are not on vacation and their right to enjoy their homes is important!

Over occupancy and/or noise levels affecting residents of Newport Beach are enforced by the City of Newport Beach Code and Law Enforcement 24/7. If the guest(s) over occupancy or noise levels result in a city fine, $1,000 minimum, the fine will be charged to the reservation. ALL guests will be immediately evicted from the property.

NO PETS-allergy free home due to family allergies

Best suited for1-4 guests including families with respectful, older (8+) stair-safe children that eat meals and snacks at the indoor or outdoor table.

There is a friendly, quiet professional that is a long-term tenant in the front unit of our home. You may never see or hear him but good to be aware he is on the property.

This is our 7th summer at The Dock. The location and genuine comfort is what keeps us coming back. As previous residents of Newport Beach, The Dock makes us fell like we are living back in our old neighborhood. The location is close to the action but tucked away on a quiet street. Not to mention, Holly and Drew are amazing host.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Dock! Holly answered all of my questions before we arrived and met us upon arrival for check in. I had her number, very easy to contact if needed. The property was as described. Very clean. Perfect size for my family of 4. Love the twin beds for my kids that are 11&9. I would agree that it is not the place for kids probably under 5 because of the steps and decorations. We also loved this place over previous Newport Beach locations because it was quiet at night!! Yet, only a few blocks from beach and walking distance to about anything you need! The garage was an added bonus! We will be back!

The host Holly was so kind and greeted us at the property for a quick tour. The house has everything you could need including a parking space! We walked everywhere since grocery store and restaurants were close by. Loves the Dock!

Loved our time in this little beach house. Holly is an amazing communicator and does anything she can to make your stay comfy. Would definitely stay here again! It was perfect for our family of 4. Super clean, stocked very well and comfy beds. Very quiet. The area is our favorite location to stay in Newport because you can walk everywhere. There are tenants in the front where the patio is. You share it with them. They were nice enough but it was a little awkward at times. We seemed to run into them every time we wanted to use the patio. So we opted not to use it. And it wasn't a huge deal because we were out and about most of the time!

The Dock
The Dock is an AWESOME place to stay. The owners care about you and want your experience to be memorable. You do not need a car. Restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, and the beach is within walking distance from the property. The amenities provided by the owners is fantastic. We have stayed several times and will return, again.

Great location!
We loved walking everywhere from this house; 3 blocks to the beach, 2 blocks to grocery and a short half mile radius to numerous restaurants, shops and Lido village. Alta coffee on 31st is excellent. Full time tenants in front unit of this duplex share the patio and garage, they were very pleasant. Overall a wonderful beach vacation spot!

The Dock presents well on-line but is even better in reality. The Dock has many amenities not normally found in a rental - not only a Keurig machine but plenty of K-cups for both coffee and tea. All kitchen and eating things are new and matching - not hand-me-downs, Appliances are high quality, bedding, linens, etc. also. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there would highly recommend staying at the Dock.

We are a family of four who has stayed for several years in the Newport Beach rental. We have stayed at multiple VRBO rentals for over 20 years and this is by far the best. Holly exceeds expectations upon check in throughout the month and the place really is located on the best street in the area. We love the beach access, lido proximity and the fact that most of the surrounding neighbors are long term residents vs party for the week people. We will be back!!!

Pics do not do this place justice. So adorable with beautiful finishes, just a few short blocks from the beach, and Holly was the best host! She has put so much thought into all the amenities…we were really impressed. I will definitely be staying here again in the future!
