"This property gets high marks on all fronts except one, the location. It is on the second floor of a shopping strip at an intersection with traffic lights. If you’re someone who can fall asleep under noises, this place is of great value, bargain even. If you’re not, then maybe it’s not for you. To elaborate, with traffic lights, you get to hear motorcycles and cars ramp up from the first gear loudly. I think the price has factored in the noise issue, especially given how modern it looks."

When we got there, the staff told us it requires a minimum of 10 dollar to dump trash. We were not informed about the cost at all! Another thing is we asked if we could street park the car and were told to read the local signs. "We had 2 separate bedrooms and a full kitchen. I didn't realize the room access was in the backyard when we checked in, so I accidentally went to the wrong room and tried to unlock the lock box to no avail. I don't know if I missed that in the description of the room, but it would be nice to have that reminder in the message before checking in. "I wish I could attach the pictures!!!! - dirty sink in the kitchen -mold on the baseboard in the bedroom -the faucet lever came off in the bathroom - the shower was dirty and had accumulated soap scum - the walkway to the unit was uneven and unsafe at night -the entrance was walking down enclosed cement steps that was reminiscent of a bomb shelter -BUGS in the bathroom sadly I couldn't take a picture of the extremely MUSTY smell the pictures are deceiving.... the unit is 10 west of the...

"Overall very good stay. Owner was quick to respond to needs. Beds were very comfortable. The selection of channels was more than enough. Of note, there is construction going on and the end of the road has a 4 " gap you have to drive over and we got a flat tire. Can't blame the homeowner but was not a good strat to our getaway. Would definitely stay again!"

"No complaints at all on property or hosts. It was a very cozy basement, perfect temperature, great amenities, wonderful bed. The hosts accommodated an early check in and even made sure i knew i could park in the driveway midway through my stay. Hosts like that are so rare and appreciated! Neighborhood was so nice, people friendly, and plenty of stores if one is needed. Just know that Richmond Hill is not close to Toronto Downtown (about 40 mins). Trips are costly (via lyft for me, $55CAD per)...

"This apartment came as advertised. It was very clean, well kept and spacious. The host made a point to greet us shortly after arrival and introduce herself. The neighbourhood is very quiet and safe. Communication with the host was excellent and there were no problems. I highly recommend these accommodations. "
