What a disappointment. On arrival at Reception, the receptionist said,”You have £109 for the room.” I told that we had not, that we had paid £122 and showed her the receipt. She said,”Oh that is Expedia’s mark up.”
We than asked to have breakfast added which was £15 per person. We asked for a receipt and were told we could not have one, we would have to wait until the morning.
Considering the room was deluxe, it was no different to a standard room.
In the bathroom the towel rail did not heat up, the extractor fan did not come on.
The was no in room hotel booklet with instructions on how to work things or what was available. The TV was complicated to use.
The evening meal limit. After ordering rigatoni, I was told there was not any, but there was ravioli, which was the same. I told the server that they are definitely not the same. The meal was average to poor.
Breakfast was poor quality, standard buffet. Not worth £15 ahead.
At check out when asking for a receipt for breakfast, we were told we couldn’t have one, because we had booked with Expedia! I pointed out we had paid separately for breakfast. Apparently, she able to produce a receipt, which would have been easier enough print off the evening before.
Will not stay again.
