Due to some issues with people not reading the listing properly I’ll put this upfront as I really don’t want guests having inaccurate expectations. Firstly the aircon.there is a portable unit in the main space upstairs.it can’t be moved around as it must be vented out a window so the main bedroom doesn’t not have aircon.it has two options for fans.large and small. The large fan is a bit loud but I find it great as white noise for sleeping. The place is designed for natural ventilation and is heavily insulated. As for the bathroom. It’s an ensuite. If you have two couples it’s awkward so don’t book my place if that’s an issue for you…………………………………………. Ok.back to the sales pitch. This 2022, architect designed home has oak floors, a stone bath in a sensational ensuite, gorgeous amenities and sits in the coolest of Newcastle's inner 'burbs. Enjoy a relaxing stroll along the river to the harbour. Sample the excellent cafe right across the street. Everything is closeby.
Downstairs is a living and kitchen area. Everything is high quality. The kitchen has a ceramic cooktop, nice oven (with airfry) and excellent new cooking equipment. There's even two different ways to make your morning espresso :).
Netflix is available downstairs
Upstairs are two rooms. The first space is multipurpose. It has both a bed and a study nook plus an old-school Bang & Olufsen tv with a built in dvd player. It’s cool but only runs DVDs.
A floor-to-ceiling curtain and a large bookshelf create a 'hallway' to offer considerable privacy to the space. PLEASE don't expect this to be fully private.
The ensuite is... awesome. It's set up to have the option to be fully open to the bedroom or to be made (semi) private with a curtain. (see the floor plan please). There's a large shower with a rain showerhead and a stunning (and massive) stone bath.
Note again that the ensuite is the only bathroom.
Both beds have brilliant - like award winning - new mattresses.
Please note:
At the moment, the parking is not available due to some unforeseen landscaping fiascos.
Apologies for any inconvenience but there is plenty of street parking.
