Luxury bright, spacious, stylish apartment with stunning mountain & bay views


This is a stunning 1st floor apartment in a peaceful village which has the 'wow' factor. Enjoy uninterrupted views over the beautiful Dundrum bay and the Mountains of Mourne - classified as an 'area of outstanding natural beauty'. You would find it difficult to find a more spectacular view anywhere in Northern Ireland. The apartment is south-facing and is bright and sunny all day long. It has a large spacious open plan kitchen, living and dining area and balcony. The superb floor to ceiling corner windows frame the amazing view while you cook, eat or relax! The apartment has wifi and all modern conveniences.

The master bedroom is ensuite with a king size bed and views of the bay (fabulous for enjoying the sunrise), the second has a double bed and the third two single beds. We can accommodate 6 guests in total. We can also provide a travel cot and high chair.

The apartment has solid wood floors, original artwork, high quality beds and furniture and contemporary furnishings - all guaranteed to ensure you have a comfortable stay - but of course the view steals the show! - ever changing throughout the day as the tide ebbs and flows in and out of the bay!

Things to do: Whether you are looking for a relaxing get away from it all holiday or an adventure filled holiday, our apartment offers you a gateway to both. Dundrum offers breathtaking views, historical sites and nature walks, In nearby Newcastle you can enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities including golf, hiking, cycling, fishing, mountain climbing, canoeing etc. Newcastle has a world class golf course (Down Royal), which recently hosted the Walker Cup. The stunning Slieve Donard Hotel has a luxury spa, perfect for a little pampering. Castlewellan has a beautiful castle, lake and gardens - perfect for walks. cycling and canoeing. Within a half day or full day's drive you can enjoy most of the tourist sites of Northern Ireland - Strangford Lough, Antrim Coast, Fermanagh lakes, the city of Belfast, historic towns of Downpatrick and Armagh and beautiful villages such as Hillsborough and Crawfordsburn.

Spacious, beautifully appointed apartment in the ABSOLUTE BEST aspect to capture the mesmerizing and constantly changing views. Lovely part of the country with much to see and do within an easy drive. Or just stay in and soak up the scenery! Owner, Janet was a pleasure to work with. Fantastic property in a stunning location
Whether you just want to sit in the window, relax and admire the changing scenery as the tide and clouds pass by or whether you want to stay somewhere beautiful within 5mins walk of lovely restaurants and pubs and beautiful walks or whether you want to get in your car and explore the many delights this area has to offer, you really cannot do better than to stay in this luxurious apartment

The Best view from an Apartment in County Down - Fact!!
The place was very clean. Janet, the Owner, catered for every little need. We intended to take day trips out, but I could not get my wife away from the window. We stayed at a previous apartment that overlooked the ocean, and is Popular in Portrush on North coast. This apartment is much cleaner and more peaceful. This is coming from a Portrush man! You will not fail to enjoy it. (Janet is lovely too).

A stunning property, ideal for a relaxing stay with all your home comforts.
Apartment is beautiful. We all had a great sleep each evening as the beds were very comfortable. Location is fantastic as it’s quiet but convenient to shops and restaurants. Views out over the bay are stunning and we have enjoyed listening to the wind blow as we relax in the sofa. We will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. The flat was very clean, very comfortable and very well equipped. Our host was very helpful and our lovely welcome pack was a lovely added touch. The views are stunning from the lounge and Master Bedroom and the beds very comfortable making for a peaceful nights sleep. Murlough Nature Reserve is within walking distance with lots of walks and wildlife on the doorstep, yet Belfast is only 45 minutes away. We enjoyed our stay so much we have already booked again for next year.

Amazing waterfront property
When you walk in, the open floorplan and windows all around feels like you are right on the beach! Very well stocked kitchen with modern appliances. Beds are comfe and good closet storage. My favorite part though was seeing the tide come and go and how it changed the landscape. Great location to shopping, pubs, restaurants, and beach combing. Janet was a wonderful host with quick response to any question.

The views from the property were amazing and ever changing! We loved your well appointed home. We enjoyed dinners out at Bucks Head Inn and Mourne Seafood. Brennan’s took care of our grocery/beverage needs. The Dundrum Castle is a must see and boasts the most beautiful views and great photo opportunities. We walked the Murlough Nature Reserve, a 6 mile walk that takes you to the beach on the Irish Sea, absolutely beautiful. Thank you for the lovely wine and treats! Wow is right. Beautiful place and area to visit.
I read the great reviews and I saw the pictures, and yet I still walked into this apartment and said "wow". The apartment was set up for us beautifully on arrival, exactly as depicted in the photos on the site. We got lucky in late September with weather and were still able to sit out on the balcony with a drink to truly take in the area. This was a great location for two golfing couples to stay and play Royal County Down and Ardglass. We cooked our own meals and also enjoyed two excellent restaurants two minutes walk away. The apartment is modern and very stylish. It was a favourite stay in our 3 week trip around northern Ireland.

Close to very good restaurants in Dundrum - walking distance . More of course in Newcastle. A lot of things you could do from Dundrum. the House complex was absolutely quiet. Exact what we needed. Stayed last week of august- first week september.

Perfect Place for a Festive Family Break!
We enjoyed a fabulous festive break with our family in this beautiful apartment. The views of the Mournes are stunning with the scenes changing with sun rise, sun set and the tides. Every detail is well thought through for visitors eg. welcome gift, copious towels, etc. The facilities are excellent including a well laid out kitchen and two bathrooms. The apartment is a short walk from good restaurants and a pub - we enjoyed a delicious meal at The Buck's Head Inn. Janet, the owner is very helpful and quick to respond from when we made the 1st enquiry and through our stay as needed. We would thoroughly recommend this property if you want to explore this beautiful area. The photos do not do it justice - it is so much more beautiful in real life!
