"This is an old motel, and I'm pleased that it retains that vibe. Its well maintained and clean, but not "overly rennovated" to the point that you cant see the original hotel. Personally, I like that. It also means that its dated and sometimes shows its age in unappealing ways - like grout in the bathroom that could be replaced. "It’s hard to make Lake Michigan feel like a private lake but this house did it. Being that it’s not “beach season” we had the waves and sand to ourselves. Beautiful house with 180 degree view of the water, wrap around deck, fire place, and very comfortable accommodations. The place was clean and welcoming. I had everything I needed when cooking and felt instantly at home. I would definitely book this home again."
