"I wanted a good location for a 1 night stay with my dogs and this fit the bill 100%. The hotel communal area was good, the room was a little tired but linens / towels were immaculate. Had entertainment on, on the evening if you wanted a drink in the bar. Overall not bad "

"The staff at St George’s are very friendly and go out their way to provide an excellent service, nothing is too much trouble . Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice and served by friendly staff. My only slight niggle was the shower in our room I found it didn’t have sufficient force but I managed. Will definitely return."

"Lovely big old hotel in a great location. Great queensize bed. Bar and restaurant on site. Very good value for money. Lots of families with children as there's a swimming pool. Staff are very nice and helpful."

"Staff were fantastic. Hotel building and location were amazing. Great views across to the straights and mountains. Breakfast was really good, dinner was ok. Main issue was that we were not in the main building but a separate one (lodge). Walls there are paper thin unfortunately and could hear everything in room next door. Boiler from room nextdoor was also super loud. Not great for 200 a night! I'm sure the rooms in the main building are much better so would be good to come back and stay in them...

"A great hotel with an excellent breakfast, it's the perfect place to stay if you want to explore the mountains/nature in the area. The bar and restaurant below are great as well especially in winter. The room was very clean, quiet and well stocked. Great staff too, would definitely book this hotel again next time we visit the area. "

"Great one night stay on Saturday 25th Jan. We were attending an event at Venue Cymru, which is a ten minute walk away along the prom. Easy check in, and very nice clean room. We were on the first floor, but the room was located through a small warren of corridors and steps, not a problem for us. The bed was comfy, and the room was great for us. The bars and restaurants on Mostyn Street are a few minutes walk around the corner. We had a drink at The GOAT bar/restaurant, was very nice and well...

"We thought the property and the owners were amazing. The tiny small gripe we had was the bed we thought was slightly broken on the left side, other than that everything was very good. Will certainly consider rebooking."

"The only problem was we took our dogs and due to not having proper fencing our dogs could get out. This does need attending to as it is a dog friendly cottage"

"We wanted somewhere quiet, secluded and far away from reality, this hit the spot perfectly! We weren't far from Llanberis where we had some great food and went on a beautiful walk to the castle. The cottage was well equipped and gave us the chance to feel properly nestled in the mountain. We used our time their to celebrate my partners birthday, and begin art projects we've been preparing for. We met a couple of others in Fachwen and they were so lovely and helpful! "Lovely hotel, some rooms are excellent and exceeded expectations, spa facilities, main hall, library, bar and restaurant are beautifully renovated, and we were allocated room no.17, sympathetically decorated in keeping with the character of the Hall, the bathroom was very modern and clean. Spa was great, pool sauna, steam room very nice too. We had an issue with the TV and staff did all they could to fix the problem, even brought in another TV and we could use apps more easily. The restaurant food was very good, really enjoyed our meal. Overall Staff very accommodating and friendly which added to a lovely relaxing weekend."

"Each time i come to Trearddur i always stay here i wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else walking distance from the beach and the shops. Really handy for everything all the rooms are big and spacious with a bath and shower in all of them, they also have sky sports there so if your a sporting fan like myself they always feature the main event.
