About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

In-town; trail 100' away; playground across street; A/C; dog friendly w/fee.

Newberry, Michigan. One bedroom, one bath vacation rental in a residential neighborhood, right off the snowmobile/ATV trail- park your trailer and ride to the trail.

Owner lives on-site. Rental can sleep four with a full size bed and full size futon. For those with kids, the school playground is across the street.

Full kitchen with cookware and utensils for cooking most normal meals. Linen and bed clothes provided, including a pack and play and sheets. Storage for snowmobile gear! Rental has Wifi and 32" HDTV with Amazon Fire Stick. Wifi can be sluggish or intermittent.

I do provide hand soap, please provide your own toiletries.

I provide a Firestick for TV, but you must log into your own account, and you may not purchase anything using my account. Anything purchased will require full reimbursement.

The additional rules are common sense; i.e., wash and put away dishes, strip beds and gather dirty towels into provided laundry baskets, close windows, turn off lights/fans, etc. Generally, leave the space as clean as you found it.

*Ozone machine disclosure* I typically use an ozone machine/air purifier between guests, which helps eliminate odors and germs. Though I follow the manufacturer's guidelines, some guests may be sensitive to the ozone or have asthma issues. If you are such a guest, you MUST discuss your options prior to making a reservation.

Burning, vaping, and smoking is not allowed inside the cabin. Nicotine cigarettes is the only smoking permitted outside and you must clean up your butts. Should you choose to burn, smoke or vape anything other than nicotine cigarettes outside, you will be immediately evicted from the unit, without reimbursement. If you burn/smoke/vaoe inside the cabin, you will be immediately evicted, without reimbursement, and a $500 cleaning fee will be assessed.

Further, by agreeing to rent this unit, you agree to the fee the owner will determine if the unit has an odor from smoking, burning, vaping of any substance.

One dog is allowed, with a $35 pet fee. Pets are not allowed on furniture, and due to past damage, the pet must go with you when you leave. I have a dog, too, so pets must be leashed when outside. If your pet has an accident, you're expected to clean it up so the condition is as good as it was upon check-in, including smell.

If your pet damages items/flooring, you'll be responsible for cleaning/repair/replacement at normal market costs, as determined by the rental owner.

The city has quiet hour curfew from 11pm-7am. Since this is a residential area, please expect noise associated with in-town accommodations. Parties are not allowed. Please be considerate of your noise and your neighbors.

Also, children are welcome, but this unit is not childproofed. I do provide a pack n play and sheets, but I have no other baby items.

Guests may check-in after 3pm and must check-out by 11am. Guests requesting an early check-in or late check-out, must have prior approval.

Guests checking out late, without prior approval, will be subject to a $50/hour fee and may have items removed from home to accommodate cleaning staff and incoming guests.

Guests are required to notify me within one hour of check-in if anything in the cabin needs to be addressed and agree to allow me to attempt to rectify the issue. Additionally, immediately upon damaging an item, I must be informed via VRBO.

No crypto mining or charging electric vehicles.

I understand that life happens. As a small business, I hope that you understand the need to maintain a consistent cancellation policy. I recommend purchasing trip insurance that covers expenses due to the unexpected.

It was a wonderful little cozy place to have a getaway weekend. We hiked Tahquamenon falls and this place was a wonderful refuge for our exhausted bodies. In particular the shower was amazing. We love to cook and all of the kitchen amenities really sealed our enjoyment.

Perfect Cabin
I booked hotels in different areas to view the UP for the week. Given the drive time between attractions, I wish I had just booked this cabin for the entire week instead. You are pretty much 2 hours at the longest from each attraction, if that. The cabin is very clean and has anything you might need to cook a few meals for yourself. TV with wifi. You want the wifi, good luck with signal in the UP. Jen our host was wonderful. It was storming and she set up our cabin prior to our arrival. This has been my best VRBO experience so far.
